Engi is Awesome and You Can Too!

The appropriately named “Toolbox.9375” made a good point in another thread. (Appropriately named because all his numbers are odd, just like him. No, but really. He’s an engineer named Toolbox.) He mentioned the forum selection bias: happy engineers have little reason to come here, so we get mostly grumpy engineers. Grengineers.

Now, I’ll be the first to admit that the Engineer has some very frustrating bugs that have been around longer than some people. (I don’t mean adults that just started playing. Children have gestated in the amount of time these bugs have existed.) Also, most Engineers can agree that we could use a tweak here and there, either in the interest of balance or in the name of fun. (Because 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 is not fun, people. I don’t care if it let me solo Jormag, it’s lame and boring and my hand hurts. That’s my posing hand, people. How can I strike a pose with a gnarled and ghastly claw-hand? I can’t, that’s how.)

That being said, my Engineer(s) is/are awesome. He’s my only 80 because he is so much fun. He has a lot of toys and he can do all kinds of weird things and I love him. I could list those things out, but I don’t think I’m going to convince anyone that has already made up their mind. But, perhaps, a mod will see some positive stuff and pass it along to the devs. Not because it might engender goodwill, but simply because they made a fun class and deserve a manly pat on the butt.

In summary, I only know three things:

1) Yak flag is best flag.
2) Engi class is best class.
3) If God didn’t want us to blow things up, he wouldn’t have made them so combustible.

Necromancer - New

Hello everyone I too am new to Necromancer and also Guild Wars 2 as well. I was thinking of running a Scepter/Dagger build with Staff as secondary. I know I probably shouldn’t worry much but I was curious to stat priority. With the low level gear only having Power, should I use Conditions into the upgrade slots or stack Vitality/Toughness? Any tips and pointers for a very low leveling necromancer is much appreciated.
