It seems that any half decent mesmer can just beat me no matter what I do.
Do any of you have a build that’s built to counter mesmers or even remotely deal with them. This is primarily for wvw since confusion is feeling pretty broken there.

PvE and WvW: 10 + (1.5 * Level) + (0.15 * Condition Damage) per stack
or at 80 10+120+0.15 condition dmg
it is very much nerfed in spvp check the wiki the only reason its not nerfed in wvw is that they cant ruin the pve builds for it. So please check your facts again

Made up a small video of a couple tower defenses that Ascension was a part of yesterday. First part is of an Ascension 5-man defending Veloka that we managed to ninja from NSP. The second is of a night-time tower defense in AR where we tried to bait both AR and NSP into fighting us.
Well that was an awesome fight in the EB Borderlands just now. Thanks for the fun fight. I enjoyed the golem push where you tried to mele the walls down. Superior ballista are just to much fun when there’s a good choke point. I’m pretty sure I got like 200 kills in that fight.

The gom zerg in the anvil rock borderlands taking bay must be blind build like three rams on the door after we had just taken down the two wall sections right next to the door. Need to take off those blinkers guys
An interesting mechanic that would help outnumbered servers is if that when you are losing badly your current keeps would start having some upgrades so what you have is easier to defend. Like if you own nothing and capture a tower it would start as fortified. That way when a smaller group takes a point the 100 man zerg doesn’t take it back immediately.
