How do I skip everything as ele? A conjured weapon?

Why should I have to keep that mentality for jumping? It wasn’t advertised or talked about having anything with as much jumping as it does.

Advertised? Do you know how many features aren’t advertised with a game? Like, all of them. Of course you those core features thrown at you in the advertisements like “Hey look, you can glide! And would you look at these things called masteries?” But no game is going to have a label on the side saying “WARNING: this game is going to have an amount of jumping that exceeds the regular amount of jumping in what you may consider to be your average MMO”. In fact, one might argue that this game doesn’t have ENOUGH mandatory jumping, and who’s to argue with them? It’s all subjective.

Yeah, my graphics are all pretty much at the bottom :P I know there’s not a whole lot of hope, but I was hoping someone might know this model specifically, or might have some other tips with fps in general.

Inspecting for skins would be reeeeaaaaaaaallllyyyyyyyyy nice.

It seems you think of jumping puzzles, or challenges involving jumping, as just some side part of Guild Wars 2. You wouldn’t say “Can’t avoid combat. Why?” About fractals or the likes, so keep that mentality for jumping as well. Jumping challenges are a part of the core game, Not just an optional piece on the side.

Hey, so my FPS drops pretty drastically in the HoT maps, and I was wondering if anyone could take a look at my computer specs to tell me if I’m doing anything wrong or if these specs just aren’t going to cut it. I get around 15-21 fps in Verdant Brink, which just hurts my eyes and makes the game nearly unplayable, and other HoT maps aren’t much better. What can I do?

Number 3 is exactly why I made another post on here just a little while ago. I agree, defending is useless, just rush lord and hope your team does more damage then theirs.

I heard that players can’t break down doors. So what does “rush lord” mean exactly?

It means to spawn a thousand doorbreakers and run at the door after the players have easily dispatched of the guards, which they easily do. Doorbreakers knock down doors in half a second, so rushing takes no time at all.

More is obsolete than just defending. The treb is pretty much unused in all of my matches, and I don’t really see much in the way of archers spawned (although in the case of archers, that may be something players just haven’t learned yet). There’s a definite “spam the doorbreakers” meta going on here, although I’m not sure what anet could do to fix this.

The airplane bit is stupid, but cmon, SAB? That should have made a comeback. the SAB minis being available again was the real April Fool’s joke, because it made us all believe that SAB was finally coming back.

They don’t seem to be giving us any info on this any time soon. What I suggest is that we wait until this Tuesday (when the next update would be coming out) to see if any new patches comes out, and if it doesn’t then we pick up on asking questions. We could have our questions answered for us in a few days here.

I’m surprised this question isn’t getting asked more. Two weeks after the season 2 finale we got a balance update to might and confusion, so that may be a hint as to what we’ll be receiving in the coming months. Hopefully we’ll get something akin to some of the fun on-the-side stuff like new activities and the SAB before HoT is released. It’s going to be a long year if we have to wait with nothing to tide us over :P
