Is the drop rate for this item meant to be this bad? I just spent an hour trying to get this thing to drop, with no luck. I find smokescales jerks to begin with, with their overspam of invisible smoke circle (which starts working before they even cast it and it seems to have a cooldown of 1 second) and the veterans have too much health for me to even clear confidently, so farming the place before the golem HP also isnt viable for me.

It’s so odd, because when I tried to farm the Oakheart drop for the druid’s staff I got it on the first try. It’s super frustrating

Thank you guys! I will take a hard pass on the salvaging the Raven Staff then, don’t want to chance it xD I’m fairly close to completing the elite spec Reaper greatsword. I’m sadly really bad at fotm but I’ll give that a try too. Teq hasn’t been too generous apart from spoons but the 1gold daily is a nice incentive to keep coming back.

I just realized, I have The Raven Staff from trying to craft Nevermore. I haven’t finished crafting it yet, but can I just salvage the Raven Staff and then rebuy it from Hobbs (will it say I lost it?)?

Can someone tell me how to best get a ball of dark energy? I’m crafting the Nevermore, (frequently cried but managed to get through it whilst chopping entire rainforests of trees). I’m now stuck in the latest stage, where I’ve accepted my fate regarding amalgamated gemstones, but this Ball of Dark Energy…

I’m a PvE player only, and this is my first legendary (I picked it at random…). I found I needed to craft this by scrapping ascended weapons/armor, since trinkets barely drop them and rings dont at all. Now I’m still running around in exotic gear exclusively, and my fractal level is a sad 14, so is my best bet really ‘drop crafting a weapon and start crafting ascended armor’? And if so, what’s the cheapest/best way to craft it? I have no clue where to even start here.

Oh God, so I did what you said and… it was indeed my mouse. I feel so stupid, haha. I thought for sure it wasn’t because nothing else gave me issues, but the only really intensive game I play is gw2 so I guess it showed up more there. :x Thank you for the help!

I’ve been having issues with rotating the camera with the right mouse holding. The mouse itself is perfectly fine, I don’t have any other issues with it other than in gw2. When I first played the game nothing was wrong, but lately I’ve been having more and more issues, having it not register the right click, registering it very briefly but not holding it (jarring my camera or moving my character a little), or detecting it as a left mouse click (and then my character attacks something when I’m still in a really awkward camera position). At times it’ll work perfectly again, and suddenly it’ll be back to being unresponsive. It’s gotten very annoying, and makes playing intensive fighting sequences nigh unplayable.

I googled it and I saw this has apparently been an issue for years (forum posts dating from 2013…), and I’ve tried some of the fixes suggested, such as adjusting rotation speed, going full-screen or miniscreen. Nothing seems to work. It’s just a normal USB mouse that didn’t require any particular setup so I’m not sure what else I can do to fix this. Has there been an update in this issue since 2013, or is it still ‘well if you’ve got it good luck’? And are there any other fixes I can try?

I’ve seen that matchup, which is why I tried number 29, since it matched… but i didn’t get the achiev for that 29. And the coin doesn’t reappear, it disappears entirely but it doesn’t register in the achiev list. So I must be having a different bug I think. idk, it was working fine before.

I’m trying to get the Go For Gold achiev (curse you lack of tyria mastery points, reducing me to this…), and I’m following Dulfy’s guide and I’m aware that the coins numbers on that site don’t match up with the quest, but… Every time I pick up a coin it doesn’t update? Even on coin number 1, which is said to match up. The coin disappears, even logging out and in again doesn’t make it appear, but… it’s still not registering. I even quit the game entirely but that doesn’t matter either.

Did I break it forever? I tried it again on coin 29, but same thing. No record or anything.

I was in the same run. It was very disappointing after spending so long getting to Mordremoth. I realize it’s probably gonna be impossible for ANET to check and reimburse everyone who was in that map but I did want to voice my displeasure about the situation as well.

It’s the Living World 2 quest Into the Labyrinth and I’m (perhaps foolishly) attempting this by myself. As a squishy Ele it’s already the least fun time i’ve ever had (a confusing aggro maze…? why) but then I attempt to fight the boss and he kills me in two hits, i get the option of restart from personal waypoint and… Network Error. Twice now I’ve made it to the boss and had that happen. I mean, the obvious solution is DONT DIE but I’m finding it kind of impossible. I’ve not had this specific error happen before during Quests or Fractals or anything, but I’ve found LW2 in particular to be kinda buggy so maybe this is part of it? idk, I figured I would notify peeps to bring a friend or something, lmao.

Hey everyone, i was just wondering if I could delete the trophies I obtained from my inventory needed to make my first legendary weapon, the Nevermore. It’s taking up much-needed inventory space… or do i need to wait till I craft the weapon?

Just got the game and got a new desktop thinking i’d be able to play it. I’m not a super computer person, so I don’t know if I grossly miscalculated my computer’s capabilities, but the game keeps crashing. I managed to create a character (albeit with a lot of lag and visual glitches (skin not loading properly)) but as soon as I want to jump into the game it crashes. I did try repairing the game, and tried the 64-bit version (I’m running on Windows 10), which helped a bit in terms of the lag but the game still crashes.

Here’s my computer’s stats:
Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i5-6400 2.7GHz
RAM 8 GB
1 TB Storage on harddrive
graphics card is GeForce GTX 960

Can someone tell me if it’s my computer that is unable to run it, or whether it’s something fixable?
