Since the patch and servers went live after they were down I have been getting constant lag spikes (from 50-80 to 200-4,000 ping) followed by DCs and login server DCs.
Internet connection seems to be fine and other games have normal ping.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a known fix for it?

It seems you have the solution to your problem, but you don’t want to hear it from others…

Ghost thieves are indeed annoying, they are troubling to deal with, and with the amount of them in WvW, it gets old fast.

But, with most things, they can be countered, measures can be taken to turn the table on them, many people don’t want or like hearing it, you obviously don’t, but they are able to be beaten, using what’s available.

Stealth Traps
Stun Breaks / Stability
Condi Clears/Immunities
Predicting where they are and then standing inside their Black Powder ring (They hit you, and then aren’t stealthed.)

Even with them in full DIRE gear, they are able to be caught and killed.

yadayada…. Still doesn’t justify STAYING in stealth while dealing DAMAGE….

They WOULDN’T be in STEALTH if you used STEALTH TRAPS and stood inside their BLACK POWDER ring, but, hey, let’s complain and cross our fingers for a nerf, so we don’t need to use our brains and try.

You are offering makeshift solutions to a problem that shouldn’t exist.

I have been playing this game for a couple of years now, and never in this time span has been anything remotely as discouraging as the current state of roaming.
Small groups or singular thieves running in perma stealth just destroying the balance of small scale combat.
Yes, you can counter it. If you happen to be a condi necro with a lucky crit or an engineer that can burst down dire gear running away from you in 6 seconds. Don’t give me the stealth trap explanation because saying that counters it just shows how dumb this has become.
Not to mention these pricks adding into guild fights, caltropping and trapping enemy groups.
Honestly, this has become so bad that you can’t leave a keep anymore without getting chased by two of those and I have seen it on 7 different worlds since the patch.

I really cannot understand why there is such a holdup in fixing this mechanic. No need for a major quarterly patch (roaming population will die by then).
Literally all there’s to be done is add 1 (!!) damage to each trap, same as rangers and DHs.
Why isn’t this happening already?

I am using a laptop with an external keyboard.
This happens on both the laptop’s and the external, when connected and disconnected.
It’s a simple Logitech keyboard that I have been using for a long time, and this occurs only in-game.
I tried reinstalling the drivers, which I though that fixed it but the problem came back.
My ping is normal.

A few days ago a really weird issue started with using my keyboard in game.
Almost every time I press a button on my keyboard, it doesn’t work in game but only after pressing it few more times. Anything from walking, using skills, entering chat to accessing the game menu.
Another thing that occurs is that double clicking doesn’t work. That goes for logging in my character or trying to swap gear.
The weirdest parts are:
1. While it takes 4 times pressing Enter to get the chatbox to appear, once it’s up there’s no problem typing.
2. Everything works fine when I have right mouse button clicked.

This seems like a come-and-go issue, been having it on about 75% of time playing past 4 days.
Tried updating all drivers and re-installing the game.

And I don’t know what was the previous one I had (been a while since the last update).
Is it possible to downgrade to the 2nd newest driver?

No, since I need the newer version for something else.

Yesterday I have updated my GPU’s driver and been having some issues.
At start when I entered the game it was frozen and the screen was flickering.
When I turned on frame limiter to 30 (was off previously) the game was working well, except when entering WVW fights or other bigger scale events, then the game completely freezes.
I use a a GeForce 660M on a laptop.

Any help would be appreciated
