From my point of view the FOV reasoning is really weak anyhow. PVE is not PVP there is absolutely no reason why the FOV should be limited in PVE which is one of the things i hate about most MMOs not to mention GW1 aswell PVE and PVP should be more separated at least when they deem PVP so important the way it is now and was in GW it just hurts PVE-Players the most.

And i highly doubt that adding an on – off option would be that big of a deal not to mention that things like FOV could be easily changed by the players anyhow if it was allowed for PVE Players.

Ingame my Camera-Settings are already on the lowest settings, i have a Razer Deathadder, i already played a lot of other MMOs and Games in general, and yes it is way to fast after the patch, it was normal before to me it seems that the lowest setting is now way faster (i already used the lowest ingame setting before because i run my mouse with high dpi)

The problem is my mouse is perfect for every other purpose and game yet it only is too fast in this game so why should i be forced to change everything to undo problems one game caused with updates (it seems it doesnt have application profiles, sadly).

Also as i said before i think one of my biggest problems are FPS it seems that FPS drops and preaks alter my camera movement which makes it this way which seems to make me ill, the game was perfectly normal on this settings before with 30-50 FPS with drops and peaks i probably didnt realize, and the problem is that first of all why should i have to tune down all my settings now? And more important i even tried that but FPS never seem to be that stable and the gain of FPS while staying within my prefered resolution is limited while it makes the game look ugly.

I do understand that some people like that, but why shouldnt people be able to opt out if it makes them sick? And as i said before i dont see any point of this direct mouse-input in a game like this, it is a good thing in FPS games but it is utterly pointless in PVE.

@WasaGuest my room is not that dark ^^ also i never had this sort of sickness-issues in any game before,, yeah i do understand that FOV can make one feel ill yet i also have limited space on my desk to move my monitor not to mention that by doing so i pretty much paid the price for a bigger screen for no reason (and i need my PC for work most of the time where i have to be near the Monitor i mean it could help but yet am i really expected to adjust all my furniture and behavior to one single game because the developer was to lazy to ad a “turn off” option into the game?

What I do not understand, is how a person that had NO prior illness, even using the old high latency camera can now claim to be physically affected by a camera that has little to no latency – the same type of low latency camera system found in nearly every other game in the market – yet doesn’t have issues with any other game, just GW2s “new” camera. If you truly had issues with low-latency, high-response camera systems, then you would have issues playing almost every game on the market.

So what you dont understand it so its not true? But to be honest neither do I. I never had problems with games and i played a lot (especially FPS). Yet after the patch when i started the game ( i actually dindt even know that there was a patch ) i almost instantly felt sick while playing and the camera felt strange – so to be honest i have no clue why the game makes me feel sick playing now (no other game before did that before), but since the only thing that really changed is the camera its highly likely that that is the problem.

Now anyhow i dont see the problem with me having a problem knowing the likely cause but not beeing able to explain it scientifically?

Lowering all settings to get higher FPS makes things a bit better still not perfect also its rather unpleasant when i cant play the game on settings that were perfectly fine before anymore. (had about 30-50 FPS before now thats unplayable for me since i expirience every FPS-Drop instantly in camera-movement)

So a perfectly fine game i really enjoy now is unplayable for me due to a patch that made me unable to play:
- jerky movement
- way to fast on the lowest setting
- altered by FPS drops

Which leads to me beeing unable to play the game since i feel sick within minutes of playing the game. Lowering all settings that were perfectly fine before to get more FPS actually reduces the problem a little but but not much (i played with about 30-40 FPS before which is now hardly playable due to FPS drops).

This camera patch was completely pointless since there is no point in having such an accurate camera-movement in an MMORPG so the only thing this accomplishes is to make me unable to play and enjoy the game anymore.

I do not ask for a complete rollback since some people seem to enjoy it but please make it optional or even ad a smoothing option to adjust for players. If this wont change soon i probably have to ask for a refund since i now really can’t enjoy and play the game anymore ( a game i really like).
