This Guild Wars 2 community makes me sick. Look at how you are all acting! Your behaving like pathetic spoilt children.

They have NOT broken any promises introducing Ascended gear, this is not a “gear treadmill” and it is not even a grind!

They are introducing TWO new items with this patch, a ring and a backpiece, the majority of you complainers will easily get those items within hours of the dungeon opening and you can all go back to your simple boring lifes until they introduce two more Ascended items a few months from now.

Its TWO items, only two, there is no grind there, stop pretending there is.

Ascended items are here to create the illusion of charector progression, it is gated on purpose so the very large amount of players who do enjoy a more stat increases progression with there hero will be encouraged to keep playing for a longer period of time.

Also, this is where the stat increase ends, if you payed attention to the blog you would noticed that this increase is a once off, yes they did say they would add more Ascended items but there stats what get any bigger than that.

I honestly hope all you complainers stop, take a deep breath, and think for a second instead of raging on the forums.

These changes are now inevitable, it is only TWO items to start with, that wont kill anyone, this wont be the end of the game. Life will continue i promise.

This is the answer. There is no threadmill item grinding or whatever.
Let the pve looking people enjoy because pvp in this game is kitten.

And there is still refund option for the game.

I would like a dev to answer me one question – will Ascended be the only tier of rarity added to this game?

I can cope if this is the case. There is a gap between Exotics and Legendaries. Striving for exotics is a Short term goal, Legendaries a very, very long term one and something between them wouldn’t go amiss. That being said, if this is the gate to constantly having to upgrade my gear for every new release – particularly with this monthly update schedule Anet have set – then my feelings will change.

This a mid tier between exotic and legendary becasue acquiring extoics is too easy and legendarys too hard.

Why people afraid gear grinding so much ? People stucked into 2 pvp options 3w aka zergfest. But there is a beatiful map out there to explore dungeons and good pve mechanics. PVE doesnt mean gear grinding anet is not pointin a gun to your head to grind or leave :!?!. And legendary grinding is kinda grinding.

You dont cry for lack of pvp events in the game but you cry for item grinding which is not going to effect zergfest that much.

And lets focus grinding process Ive got 3 sets of craft knight cleric and berserker in 2 weeks in my warrior what a long time. And I also have CoF set TA set.

So much grinding yeah.

If you play casual which I do now like 1 hrs or 2 hrs in a day this features are great they are not game changer, There is nothing bad for gear grinding. Its not effective as wow.

People grinding karma and gold. Thats MUCH MORE silly than grinding items sorry but pve is needed.

Exotics still good ascended items wont make much different imo it will be next step for people who already done with so called grinding.

Yea the reason I play this game is graphics, so extra zoom makes game really enjoyable and once I played like that Its going to be unacceptable if you guys dont allow to play with extra zoom out option. (I was zoomin out extremly yesterday but today only mid range)

yea I want to see enviroment as much as I can more far more good.

Well done anet great mmo ( but not next gen) awesome graphics gameplay etc.

But PVE of gw2 is not good, I mean its not adjusted well, I feel like it may get impoved huge by not adding content instead, adjusting dps hp and ability cds of monsters.

Revive thingy is good but runing after dying is bullsh**t, If you die you shoudnt be joining combat again and again. But monster damage and hp shoud be adjusted for that.

And events I hope somehow you add random events which spawns random monsters and loots. There are lots to say but you already know all of them.

This game is good but not best at the moment. I believe until 1st expansion Its going to be best.

P.S: TWO HAND AXE ANET kitten ??!?! I want to see it before expansions pls

keep jumping until you die and rally, It worked for me today after rally I kept my feet on ground.
