Hi, my name is stunningstyles. I stopped playing the game a week or so before the latest patch. I came back and saw the balance was still the same maybe a little worst actually. I keep up with the forums just to see the patches to see if the game is going anywhere tpvp wise so that’s how I came across a “I’m leaving post”. Not trying to step on anyone’s toes that has a post like that now but from what I remember all the constructive but I’m leaving post were “deleted.” The recent post I seen (no offense) didn’t have much constructive criticism yet it got a forum mods response while being left for everyone to view. I was wondering can I now make a criticism post but I’m not playing post since
there is a new forum rule? Or is this just being overlooked…or most likely this will get deleted and stashed away as norm?

I run soldier/berserker amulet in tpvp…stomping isn’t an issue

the more dps u can get while still being able to do your job as a bunker and condi clearer the better

cymer…yea I understand bunker can hold longer but u also have to take in the fact of how long does gw2 4v4 3v3 fights really last…how long really do u need to survive…I think bunker guard goes over that time limit when its a high rank game…very good points tho I agree…at kjeld…the target I was fighting were med/heavy armor characters so im prob not going past 3k with ww but against squishies I easily hit 5k 6k WWs and autos for 2k so there is def dps.

The way gw2 game mechanics work and guardian traits (aka dodges, blinds, aegis) I have plenty of bunker by being mechanically sound and dodging CC and damage. That why I feel having more dps is better. People feel u needa bunker in 5v5 comp but if your good enough to avoid damage in high congestion fights its fine to be dps guard.

id love some answers too tbh…why am I always in these pics o.0

@Entioch LOL lies!!….. has anyone made use of vulnerability stacking with symbols and scepter? I still haven’t made a build that could make use of it

yea you don’t see the dps necessarily in this clip but the build pumps out a lot of damage..as u can see my health dropped pretty fast

lol thanks tek…@cymer this question I get asked a lot and it is really difficult to explain. Both builds are strong and viable and I believe it comes down to personal preference…do you u want 3 group condi removals on one skill or do u want 1 condi removal on each shout (3 shouts)…Also for this build u can use around 4-5 diff amulets and it will still work so it all depends on who you are up against and what u feel like playing lol this build is very versatile

I use 8 dollar keyboard and mouse…i dont keybind…u don’t NEED anything to play well :P

Hi, my name is stunningstyles. I ended the night with 97 wins and 26 losses After getting high rank I just wanted to let everyone know it DOES NOT get any easier. You still get qued with players u have to carry. Also I notice i get on the same team as a certain player 5 or 6 times before it switchs. Also it kinda feels bad im going down in leaderboard for playing more but whatevers lol just my input :P

nah unless your bunker build a warrior is gonna kill u with the new cc build…its inevitable if they play just as good as u…all u can do is try to avoid the stun by dodging and using aegis at right time.

Well the build works with multiple amulets but its really up to personal preference.

yea the build is really nice to carry yourself through ranked if u play it right…I also made a boss bunker build that’s better than the 0 0 10 30 30 and 0 0 30 30 10 textbook shizz…I will practice with it some more before I throw it out there

@Expired Wow I didn’t know that..is there any official data on that stating sigil of force can out do sigil of battle when u have a decent amount of stacks?

Well I agree and disagree with switching to keybinds in THIS game. In this game, it is easy to tell what the opponent is about to do. So having that knowledge, it doesn’t matter whether u click or push because your reaction is still the same because u know what going to happen. I pretty much studied every single class and know all there moves so whether I click or push its still within the same small time frame. Truly I think its different depending on the person. Some are better with mouse…some are better with keyboard. I think u mean to say IN THEORY, pushing buttons is faster because it hasn’t been proven tbh.

@Arc Yea the people that know the effectiveness of 12 might stacks to a team in a team fight try to stop it but most don’t hah if u can get empower/virtue off that’s grp 15 might stack….that comboed with everyone blasting combo finishers I easily get my team 25 might stacks…the build also is anti-meta with all the condi teams

yea no prob :P also guys notice this build is great for the meta right now cuz it has every grp condi removal except pure of voice

I only run soldier/zerker amulet but I tested out the other amulets just recently and noticed they work just as well so im still trying to figure out whats the best situation to use those amulets. I been clicking for a while so its just bad habit :P

I have the most problems with necromancers and engies and spirit rangers

is more a good consistent dps wep…it isn’t as good in bursty specs but it still kicks out a lot of dmg
