So, for some odd reason I cant claim my WvW reward chest. I’ve tried to talk to Battle Historian in every single borderland. I just transferred from Fort Aspenwood (NA) to Desolation (EU). Not sure if that has anything to do with it. But as of now, I cant get my WvW reward chest.
Have similar issue except i cannot reclaim my 500 tickets that i got from the chest.
Why i dont get is why do we need to speak to NPC to claim our tickets in the first place, couldn’t they have been sent by mail like the other 100 tickets? Wasn’t that less of a messy solution?
I played Season 2 on a NA server (which had been my server for last 16 months). After the Season 2 ended, I got my chest and I transferred to EU. Then on June 3rd we came to know that Arena Net ran into some problems and will not be enabling us to get our rewards. Now, 14 days later, when I went to WvWvW and talked with Battle Historian and got no rewards. Now I am stuck with 500 voided WvWvW Tournament Claim Tickets and 100 tickets that I got in my mail, for no fault of my own. GG
Free transfer to NA (for claiming Season 2 rewards) and then free transfer back to current EU server will be appreciated.
Pretty much, i mean i don’t want to be punished for non-existance of bugged NPC. How their database works is none of players’ concern.
If there is a possibility to transfer back to my old server and pick up my tickets and then transfer back then it would be reasonable, otherwise its a complete mess.
Why there is a workaround solution that came with patch is nothing i can affect, however all i know is that i have 500 void tickets and i cannot get new tickets from NPC.
You should be able to transfer back to a NA server and speak to the Battle Historian there to retrieve your rewards.
Transfers are not free…
I transferred from NA to EU yesterday, got my 250 tickets there aswell. Now i do not get the option to retrieve the chest either on EU server… I mean, do i have to wait 7 days and pay for a transfer for something that wasn’t even my fault in the first place?
Fix this now please or clarify what needs to be done.
The only thing i can do at the Battle Historian is buy weapons which ofc i cannot do since my 500 tickets are void and i cannot reclaim them…
Thought it was me :S It’s most noticable on Rifle and Hammer for me, especially hammer F1 skill.. takes like 1 second to hit it and sometimes it undershoots (doesnt reach target ring altho way in range) .
I don’t really want to see (proper) squads for PvE, since nothing requires such organization at the moment.
Seriously, they need to buff Dragons’ difficult scaling.
All dragons basically get zerged without any trouble. Teq and Shatterer just melt under the pressure of a couple dozen level80s in full gear. It’s not even fun. It’s just an appointment to stand somewhere and spam senselessly.
But I would like to see them improve the squad-system for WvW.
Squad HP bars, Squad leader privileges, such as group-assignment, group-labeling, header announcements that show up like the “New Event Nearby” notice, so squad members notice commands more easily.
Pretty much nailed the basic features we need there. There is so much suggestions on this forum about people wanting the implementation of large sized organized squads, something seen before in games like WAR, WoW, Silkroad(game is over 8 years old), Aion… only to name a few. It would make a perfect sense to have that party system as something we’re not even supposed to ask for, since its such a basic feature.
Let’s not forget , this is GUILD Wars 2, but other than guild panel UI, we lack so much basic things.
There is , but its useless since u dont see anyone else in squad on map/minimap or in party window (healthbars) , other than leading commander’s minimap icon. So its pretty much same as 5-men party except u got that extra chat.
When can we expect to get large sized party system in GW2 ? What exactly is the point of having a guild if its barely possible to organize people when everyone is segmented into 5-player parties ?
Guys , we need raid sized party system (and please don’t mention current commander party thing , its useless ). I want to see other 20 people from my party on my minimap/map so we can meet up , organize and move like proper WvW game should be played.
What we do right now is trying to coordinate on voice/chat where noone really knows where other people are outside those other 4 in party. It’s not something a 2012 pvp/wvw vw game should have as a drawback.
I have no idea at all why on Earth would anyone remove a great feature , instead of implementing new features and improving the existing.. really guys cmon ><
Just to add that i had same problem on Windows 8 and with combination of those security certificates for windows 7 and running the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode. Only after i set my game to run in Win7 comp. mode that this issue dissapeared.
Mine Still looking for staff with skulls :c Was hoping i would get Pact Staff after completing entire story , but the npc that sells it actually has the sale dialogue disabled by Anet :/..
Same here , im terribly disappointed since pact weapons are pretty much reason i finished the final quest of story… I hope there’s a way to compensate this because we were not warned and it has been noted nowhere that the very core of personal story is actually bugged in the end… That’s pretty disappointing if u ask me :< I hope a dev will get to this and actually give us some formal answer on this. As a necromancer i really want that pact skull staff.
