Druid Astral Force Out-of-Combat Degeneration

I find the issue to be rooted in how long it takes to charge up Astral Force. The reason people are complaining about the degeneration on it is because it takes ages to build it back up. The point of the Elite Spec was to add a more supportive role to the fray, but since the change in AF generation from BWE3, I almost find myself forgetting to even switch into Celestial Avatar in longer battles because it’s taken so long to charge up. The issue is in shorter battles, I don’t get to use it at all.

I hope you guys look at it and tweak both the degeneration and the generation of Astral Force. Thanks for keeping an eye out on the community.

The “reduces incoming damage” line on the Dolyak Signet is essentially a obfuscating lie. All it really does is provide a moderate amount of Toughness.

Suffice it to say, there are better things to use, even with a full signet leveling build.

All right, I’ll try out something else then.

Would a sword/axe build be a terrible idea? Like if I build my traits up to inflict bleeding and what not?

Replace Dolyak Signet with Signet of Stamina.

The extra dodge juice as well as total Condition cleanse is way better than a few extra bits of Toughness. Dolyak Signet is the worst.

Will that drop my survival capabilities? Since I no longer have the reduced incoming damage?

Are you seeking an end-game build or a leveling build?

Well, currently I am looking for a build that will allow me to get through my personal story and, yes, level up.

So, being honest, I refuse to use a greatsword simply because I find the gameplay with one to be boring and lacking in variety.
I’ve chose to use dual axes instead. I’m only level 42 and the build I am currently running for strictly PvE only is as follows:
Strength: 4
Arms: 10, I
Defense: 10, II
Tactics: 0
Discipline: 8

Along with those traits the skills I am using are:
Healing Signet, Signet of Fury, Signet of Might, Dolyak Signet, and Signet of Rage

I’m fairly new to the construction of builds. If there is any information I left out, feel free to ask, but I could certainly use some input.
