Guild Wars 2

soooo the posts so far seem pretty over the top, but hey i guess some people really get into role playing (though i’ve never seen the appeal who am I to judge).

But I more or less agree with tsubaki, would be good to have a choice and id personaly prefer nightmare, games with a moral compass tend to be more fun when your on the negative side.

i chose Sylvari because being a walking talking plant seemed a fun move away from the cliche races…however it turned out they are just glorified elves and with armour on you can barely tell what they are anyway. (though with the cultural armour they become much more what i was hoping for)

Asura because they are small and creepy looking….

i recently aquired the shadow garb of hoelbrak (lvl25 mesmer) however when i equip it it says i have 6/2 runes but regardless doesnt seem to add the stat bonuses.

I previously had the magician coat of vampirism which with the regular stat bonus in addition to the rune bonus added a total of 85 power (giving me a character total of 390). however when i equiped the shadow garb which should give a total of 98 power (13 higher than the magician coat set) my character only has 353 power :/ dont really get whats going on. I am new though so maybe im just doing something wrong/misunderstanding something.
