Okay so for days I’ve been unable to play because of this issue. After downloading a certain amount of the patch it would come up with the message: Download failed! Please check your connection and try again. (2). After trying just about everything, I almost gave up but took one last shot at trying something someone suggested in another topic, it actually worked!
If you’re having this issue, open up your Network and Sharing Center, and open up the properties of your internet connection. Double click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Select Use the following DNS server addresses and in the first line put 8.8.8.8 and in the second line put 8.8.4.4 (if there is something else already there please write it down to revert it back later). Click okay and reset your connection, now try downloading the rest of the files. Remember to change the DNS settings back as they were after you finish downloading the patch.
This worked for me when nothing else would, so if you need any further help then feel free to ask. What this is doing is using Google’s DNS addresses. I hope this works for you guys! (:

Same here, this NEEDS a fix. I have tried everything..
^ Me too, 55Mb in and it fails. I’ve also spent alot of download trying different solutions but nothing has worked. The patch before did the same thing but putting it in compatibilty with Windows XP service pack 3 fixed it. But this time nothing works. This is seriously annoying, I just want to play.. I don’t want to have to go through this every with patch a comes out.
