I’ve decided to go with the Engineer,thanks to everyone who participated and provided with insight for both classes!
One last question though..My friend who has chosen ranger,has changed his mind onto warrior…Does this shift synergies towards a profession?

Forgive me, i didn’t mean to say a pure specific role,that’s what i get when i wanted to express myself in English while thinking on my native language.. :p
From what i get by reading around is that Guardian is a “safer” choice for supporting a group whereas the Engi has a higher learning curve,but could be more rewarding.
Did i get this right?

We’re going to be playing mostly PvE and PvP i think..
Regarding support distinctions by Galen Grey,i’m willing to do both so i’ll check a bit which direction are my friends going..If they pick a healing role for example,it’d be good to have a guardian if i got your saying completely..

My interest in GW2 rekindled after i heard about the upcoming expansion and i managed to convince 2 friends of mine to try it out given the sale..Since i’ve been away from the game for a good long year,i’d like some help deciding between Engineer and Guardian..Which one would be more suitable complementing my friends’ professions? One has picked ranger and the other an elementalist..
I’d like feedback,if possible, for all aspects of the game.

I like my characters equally,I’ve tried all professions in the game.. I might resume leveling my warrior since it’s gonna be easier as blanger mentioned and I see around forum .By the way, is the staff mesmer still viable?

Hello folks, I’m back after about a year in the game..I’ve never got to level a character to 80 and now that i got the time (and patience) i’d love to do it finally.. :P
I’m can’t decide with which one of my characters though..
I have a lvl 50 warrior,a lvl 47 mesmer and a lvl 39 elementalist but i can’t decide which one to resume leveling to 80. I also have created a guardian and a necro with an insta20 lvl i found in my mail but i’m not sure if i want to start all over again.I don’t know how much things have changed since the last time i played..
I need some info/advice/feedback on which one would suit me for leveling..
Due to my schedule i’m focused on Solo, be it PvE or PvP/WvW. If any of my chars would be able to solo Dungeons/Champions etc would be a big plus…
I’m looking forward to your help..

Hello folks,i’ve been away from guild wars 2 for about a year and decided to start anew..I’ve started leveling a Guardian…After looking at some guides i had most questions answered..What i’d like to know is mostly about crafting…Are there any “suggested” or prioritized crafting professions for the Guardian?Also,what utilities should be picked up for smoother leveling?
