I am very appreciative of your quick response Jeffrey. Unfortunately since completing the mission, I am unable to lend more aid other than memories and screenshots.

There were 5 artillery pieces, none of them could be interacted with. No npcs were near the mortars, they were all standing at the bridge. If I can provide any more information please post back.

Okay so it seems the trick is that you need to be with the pack bull the entire time. If you wait with the extra spiders or go back for the loot, the squad gets stranded at the bridge and the cutscene never starts.

I can confirm this bugs existence. I just ran into it tonight on my 64 norn mesmer. I killed the spiderlings and veteran spider, followed the pack bull to the bridge, watched the team set up the mortars and then nothing. Objective remains ‘escort the artillery team to the battleground’ and a waypoint is stuck on the bridge. I believe a cutscene is suppose to start but the npcs stand in formation in front of the bridge not responding. I tried running up and down along the path searching for enemies, and even went down into the valley below the bridge. Attempting to restart the mission now, not sure what other information to include.
