While it does say that, I did Ellen Kiel’s 1-4 and then once I went to Gnashblade there was really no reason to look at the achieve because I went in knowing I’d have to complete 1-4. Considering the options were all given for 1-4, I didn’t think I’d have to check the achievement to see if I have to do it in order (i.e. it could be 0/4 like dungeon paths or something like that, considering all 4 options were given from the get-go). I’m simply trying to stop other people from making the same mistake, which is more common than you might think.

I did Ellen Kiel’s trials to Tier 4 and then decided to start Gnashblade with Tier 4 down to Tier 1 because I wanted to get the annoying ones out of the way first. In the end, I only got credit for half of the Tier 1+2 in achievements and wasted around 30 minutes. Don’t do the same. Not sure if this coding was intentional, but either way it ended up that way.

I didn’t change any settings and my download just worked. I also happened to link this thread to AT&T Customer Support around 10 minutes ago. Wonder if it’s a coincidence. Either way, it finally seems to be resolved.

I managed to get past that screen at a crawling pace, but once I got to the actual patch download it was still a slow download (maxing out at 5 kb/s), but it was the login screen.

We do guild missions every Monday, most of our members (particularly leadership) are older players (even some married couples such as yourself!) We’ve been helping people finish their dungeon master, recently got a custom arena to begin practicing for tPvP & are also making a push for more WvW, but at the moment we’re mostly PvE just like you. We use Mumble for voice communication and we highly encourage our members to do so as well. Personally, I started playing GW2 around a month ago and ended up in the guild through a friend, and will testify that they are fun and friendly.
