Hai. I went back to my home server (ebay) after a long break from the game been playing there for about a month. Before that I had been on bg jq and sor. My issue is t4 is very dead. Outside of na prime all we get is ktrains, rarely any fights happen. Even on an active night only one map will be qued most of the time none. What im getting at is maybe its time to make it only 3 tiers. Sure during na prime we might have to sit in a que but id much rather sit in a long que to play than run in circles looking for some one to fight. I play for large scale fights ajs, blobs and good old open field 20v20 or 15v15. But this almost never happens. We have one guild that fields numbers that knows how to fight, and the rest are just ppt guilds or people recruiting. Most of those guilds are on our linked server and all are na prime guilds. I play late na and its a ktrain everynight. A big ol maybe perma merge is the only thing that I can think of.
Mega perma merge. Smash us all into 2 or 3 tiers rename servers. Communitys stay together and maps wont be so empty. People that complain about ques can log in an hour after prime time and boom no more ques. In my opinon a long que is better than no que, cant get your guild in at na prime change your raid time. You might say but thats when I can play wvw, but most people that say that either play another game or pve after wvw, in which case just change your schedule. I want fights not ktrains.
For a few years I was a desktop user running an i7 4770k and a nvidia 770. Ended up selling my pc. Now Im back in the market but possibly for a laptop. I know these things are no gaming machines like a watercooled savage with a 7700 and a 1080, but do they work to a degree? Im looking into a laptop with a 7700hq and nvidia 1060. My question is the enough horse power to play some wvw with? or am I better off getting a work laptop, and saving for a home pc. Has anyone used that processor? I have almost no experince with mobile cpus and don’t know how they scale compared to a desktop processor.
Not sure how wide spread these crashes are but in Ebg tag crashed then within 2 minutes I crashed along with others. Please post if you know of other people experiencing the same problem. I’m on the 64bit client not sure about others I normally don’t tend to have issues with crashes
Can we please have a heads up if the update will include the server mergers. I currently play on a high tier server, only because the time zone I play in is dead on my old server (and other servers in that tier) and there is no one to play with. But if the updates were to happen ideally I would go back to my old server to be able to play with my friends. This is not a bandwagon issue as much as unplayable issue.
So anet’s mentioned one of their main priorities is population balance, what I really want to know is what their plan is for the update in April. Will it be server merges, or battle groups? I’m assuming they have some sort of idea since its eight days until april. All the other changes sound great but this seems like what will make or break wvw.
1.Server merge/ mega servers/ battlegroups
2. Return of alpine maps no changes or gimmicks
3. Old stability
4. For there to actually be an overhaul
Number one is all I really care about most nights I can’t sign in at prime time. So most nights I can’t wvw because it’s so empty
Played on Ehmry bay forever then before hot I went to SoS to be able to play out side of NA prime time, then hot came out and we all know how well that went for wvw. But I came back out boredom only to log in multiple times to see an empty ebg with no tag or serious activity. It feels like I’m back on Ehmry again just waiting for prime time. I’ve heard rumors of battle groups or alliances is this true at all or just wishful thinking?

Currently during wvw I have almost no issues except for mega blobs this is when my frames drop horribly. Does anyone get 60 fps in a mega blob fight if so what’s your of build here’s the basics of mine.
thanks for your honest answer, I still plan on playing with my friends on ehmry during NA prime time. Mainly focused on finding a tier with avtivity during all parts of the day other than 5-9pm pdt
Hello there forum dwellers, I’ve spent my guildwars 2 life wondering what it might be like to wvw not during NA prime time. So I set out with a goal to make a free alt on sbi. Does anyone know what past ten pm looks like as far as population in wvw is for their tier. Ive always played on ehmry bay only to find other than na prime time we just have roamers, and doors. Making an allt seems like the only way to stay loyal but still a play wvw outside of prime time
