Hi guys! As stated in the title, I’m new to rangers and I’ve been trying to get better at learning the class via spvp. And I was trying to figure out whats the best build to utilize for roaming between nodes. The ranger’s signets and their traits seem interesting, so if anyone has a build for those I’d love to see it. Thanks!
That build will work as long as you’re fighting alongside your teammates. But I would refrain from from trying to cap nodes on your own since you only have 2 condish cleanses. My personal opinion is I would take out the 4 points out of zeal and stick that into virtues for the pf CD reduction and absolute resolve for additional cleanse. And you might wanna consider finding ways to stack might since you have the strength runes but your not fully utilizing them. And my last 2 cents is that when I’m looking at your build all I see that your trying to stack vulnerability but i dont think you’ll survive long enough to get the stomp. Then again, if you can make the build work based on your skills and situation, then by all means go with it. I just don’t think its as optimal as it can be.
Not gonna answer your two other questions but I will give you a build. You can go many different ways with the scepter. But I usually use the classic x/2/6/5/1 build using blinds for the vulnerability, immob on scepter 3, hit scepter 2 and then following up with a GS 3, 2, etc. But since you don’t wanna use the GS, i recommend using sword/x for more mobility. I use zerker ammy and speed runes and I’m having a blast with it. Try it out, see what you like/dislike and modify to your liking. And most importantly, have FUN.
I like a lot of these ideas! Having the option to change VoJ into a chill (GM trait) and/or lowering the CD on Glacial Heart and affect all weaps is very attractive to me. Heck, I’d take that trait if it only affected two-handed weaps. (staff only chilling one opponent ofc, gotta keep it from being op). If Anet wants us to stay in the thick of battle, then please give us a more reliable way to keep our opponents from LoL-walking away from us.
Thanks for the input! As i was thinking further on this build, i was wandering if i had too much condition removers? do i have enough crit chance to trigger my sigils? does it have enough survivability? thoughts?
To be honest, i haven’t really looked too much on the forums to see if anyone had already come up with this build. But i’d like to see what everyone’s opinions are regarding this build.
Its sort of an antiCondition build i thought of to combat against all those pesky condispammers. Is this viable??
