Guild Wars 2

been playing a war-ranger for a bit, have a good longbow/greatsword build.. its pretty fun, not sure why it would get boring. I have a similar longbow/greatsword configuration on my ranger, but its so much less fun to play, no heavy armor, and a pet i cant ditch… i dunno man, if they gave the warrior longbow skills to the ranger and let me dump the pet, id prolly keep it… but not as it is, warrior is the better ranger.

pets are great for pve, but, other then taking knockdowns etc.. not really suited for wvw or pvp. Id like to have petless trait line and/or a pet specific trait line… then I can choose what I like. Doesnt have to be either or, folks, we can have our cake and eat it too.

Please create something similar to this that allows a ranger to be a proficient bowmen and not require a pet, even if it means removal of some of the hand to hand options (which arent befitting of a ranger anyway).

I pretty much despise not being able to hide the pet. In fact, it should be class option with a very minor dps buff with the pet stowed. its a RANGER not a hunter. I should be able to choose.
