Last time I checked no mmorpg has been released with the feeling of a esport. Games like LoL took lots of balancing and time (a year) to get to the point of being classified a esport. They are taking steps in the right direction, but these things take time. Everyone is making it sound like the game is completely broken and that is far far from the truth.

I’d like you to create an elementalist level them to 80 play in sPvP and tPvP (If you can even find a team now) then do the same for a ranger.

After you do these two things SINCE the recent patch come back and repeat your statement.

The game IS broken as far as several classes are concerned.

Not to mention we haven’t had a mod post in the elementalist forums since actually I don’t think I’ve EVER seen one other than mods saying keep things on topic, the lack of communication is also frustrating and might cause others to leave as well.

Broken is a relative term, and yes a few classes my not be equal to others in pvp but broken is once again far from the truth. My ranger main has no issues in any form of pvp, I have played him since release and through all the patches, and have yet to run into feeling broken. Yes there may not be as many viable builds for a ranger but they are still viable in pvp with the right spec. If my ranger was broken I could not see my self continuing to play him, and that has not happened by any stretch. I rolled a Elementalist last week and I will say that they are quite a bit more difficult to play vs most classes and seam to be less effective/ lacking to a extent. I also agree more communication between the devs and us would be great, but where to you come to expect that? Other mmorpg forums I have participated in seamed to not have any dev communication at all.

Great to see more positive post like this. I am right there with you, my Ranger has never felt near as kitten as 90% of the post make them sound. I have played spvp / tpvp since release and all the changes made that people are raging about have not altered how successful I have been in PVP. There are a few issues and bugs but they do not keep me from enjoying my time spent on my ranger at all.

I agree with you on auto balance however I despise leave penalties. I could see it being viable for ranked/ tournament play but not for a casual player. I don’t get as much time to play as I want, all I need is some lockout forcing me to not PvP for 10 mins because I wanted to smoke a quick bowl between some PvP matches.
