I’d like to know, how a dead, not downed, but totally dead player’s health kept rejuvenating until he rose from the dead. You could actually see the red health bar increasing. Void was the guild. How do I know, because this player actually arose and started fighting. I am thinking that YB and EB are using quite a few exploits in the matchup. Cheating is for losers.

Either invis thieves or mesmers or something else.

Or a revive orb. Those res you very slowly over a long period, as described.

I would hope SBI can get enough of the lead to edge into gold league. I would love to have a chance to fight our ex-SBI brethren and see which of our new transfers are with us for the long run. 7 weeks of getting our kitten handed to us sounds way better than karma training in 75% of matchups and getting more band wagoners.

I would be thrilled if we got 1 or 2 matchups against Mag and SoS to determine who got 6th. I personally would rather be in 6th than 7/8/9 since at least every week there will be fights. Plus we would actually see which new transfers are actually with us for the long run.

It is surprising to me that DH drops off more due to PvE updates than SBI. I had figured SBI had the greater PvE population somehow.

We have that reputation, yes, but we also have a strong core of passionate and dedicated fighters who continue to bring the fight to the battlefield regardless of other content. We are not to be underestimated! (Anyone want to come and join our forces? We’re having a night of all lady commanders leading the maps next week, so if that piques your interest, come on over!)

I don’t have much play time these week but could probably do evenings server time the next two days.

I’ve run into the same issue with DH and KN, where they run if it’s an even fight although haven’t seen your guild tag so that will be refreshing.

Torrid is normally online before me and can coordinate some fights. I know some of the guys have been doing some 5v5 in the past but normally there isn’t a consistent GvG to sustain a 15 v 15. I doubt even my guild gets 15 reps at fight club and we love dueling. To answer a time, I’m normally online around 9:30PM EST or 6:30 Server time and will be ready to duel shortly after that.

SBI BL for fight club this week by the windmill. I’ll be available tonight and tomorrow night for duels and maybe even some GvG if we can get enough representation.

Three good contacts other than myself for getting people to show are nessuno.1253, Melodey.4652, and torridstoic.7492. One of us should be online to get this show on the road.

I hope we get a good turnout….fight club can be some of the best times and learning experiences.

I take from your comments you are in AR. If you are fighting in the enemy borderlands you are dead regardless if you are a uplevel or not. Why? because of how the game is currently played at lower ranks borderlands matter more to keep it all. In EB the 1/3 matter most. I highly doubt that they were targeting the uplevels. I honestly don’t notice uplevels unless they are in my party. Also keep in mind that until just yesterday we were behind you in score.

I’m not talking about BL, I’m talking about EB. Everyone understands that it’s “open season” if you’re in the enemy BL.

And please elaborate….what does score have to do with spawn camping uplevels?

And yes, uplevels were targeted because once I started escorting them with one of my 80’s the campers disappeared.

If you’re going to WvW and complaining about getting ganked as a lowbie, you’re going to have a bad time.

When I bring my lowbies to WvW, I welcome the 1v1 fights because at least you are getting experience PvPing with your class and figuring out how to play it for 1v1s. You’ll likely lose most of the fights before level 60 but I know I enjoy them at least, especially if I can give the enemy a good fight. If you’re going to WvW with any of your characters, I’m not sure why you are complaining about getting into fights, isn’t that why you are there?

And if they are spawn camping you, then they’re likely bad apples, every server has them. Just go out a different entrance or go to a different map. They’ll leave if they aren’t getting any fights.

Some really fun duels around 11:30 server time at the Windmill on SBI. Some fun 2v2’s and 1v1s of mag from iLL, CTH, and a I think DERP? We had the group with two mesmers. Really enjoyed the 1v1’s with the mag commander ele although one of our fights got interrupted sadly

I guess no one from mag should point out we’ve tried to get like 8 fight clubs or group vs group going against SBI to no avail. Sure I guess we suck open field let’s just go with it.

I think the problem is the people on SBI who are interested in this don’t check the official forums and those that do don’t spread the word much. I think like it’s been stated before, we prefer unarranged open field fights opposed to the sort of fights that occur at fight clubs.

I personally enjoy these fight clubs quite a bit and have missed the last few that were held. Shall we schedule one before Mag moves back up a tier? Tonight would work best for me (server time.)

Also, the battles on SBI BL at Hills last night were amazing. Thanks to all the Mags who kept on pushing that objective. Thought you guys had us for a second when you pushed inner down with the golems and has us in the lord room. That ballista and treb saved our lives though. Well fought!

The other night on one of the Borderlands, we decided to start experimenting with strange siege placements just for kicks. We started by sieging Bluebriar from the hill to the East of it (within the supply camp) aiming at the destructible bridge in the tower. A few of us had always wondered what (if any) wall would come down when you destroyed it. Turns out absolutely nothing happens. I guess now enemies would have to jump to get to that ledge, so take that IoJ and you’re stupid bridge!

Good luck to IoJ and DR in their next matchups, it’s been a fun few weeks.

Yeah, it’s really hard to tell how many are there when it goes over 20-25 with the culling. Sometimes you just have to judge by the pressure and damage you are taking. When you throw clones and pets in there your perception can really get screwed. A lot of this guesswork goes away when culling is removed.

It’ll be pretty interesting once this is removed and will be a rude awakening for some, when they realize they are purely being out played, not out numbered.

Shall we arrange a fight club again this week? I enjoyed the one last week (despite showing up fairly late for it).

We have a million points and we’re stilling losing?! kitten 2v1….

Yeah, we were shocked when LA didn’t even have a que during the reset… noticed a difference throughout the night as well. Maybe alot were doing guild quests?

Haven’t seen a queue in SBI’s LA either since the patch, I think they may have increased its capacity. The last time I saw it without a queue during primetime was the first hours of the headstart weekend.

Fight club was fun indeed, will have to work on getting more SBI folks out there although it was fun getting so many fights in since SBI had a low turnout. Need to polish up on fighting other mesmers, was getting wrecked by them in fights :s

Hopefully we can get some folks to show up and do a fightclub thing tonight. I’m hoping maybe ~8:30pm server time? Things really slow down after that time in my server so most group activities are done.

Fightclub things don’t really prove anything btw but they do tend to promote better relations since there are kind of informal standards of conduct etc. Obviously some classes match up more competitively than others but if some variety shows up then you can usually find someone to spar with.

ps Try to leave at least one spot open if you are in a group so that you can chat with whoever you are dueling before and/or after the duel. (not fair to thieves if you stay in party during duel).

Any borderland is fine but access is easiest for players from outside their home BL so they can just scoot out the side exit from spawn to get their quick and easy.

Works perfectly for me. I’ll see if I can get some friends to tag along.

Anyone on SBI want to take a mesmer and/or engineer under your wing? Engineer is 80, but I’ll get my mesmer to 80 in a couple of weeks if I focus on it. Mesmer is 64 or 65 as of lunchtime today. When it comes to PvP, consider me to be “bad.” But I’m willing to listen and learn. I’ve got 7 kids and a full time job in the CST time zone, but I’d love to actually be an asset when I hop into WvW even if it’s only for short periods at a time.

I will gladly take you under wing on the mesmer part. and have a friend who would do the engineer. I won’t be on till next Wednesday (vacation) but hit me up on my character, Thel.
