Talk to the npc in your home instance and it should give you the option to speak to miyani afterwards.

I completed this story within a party. My party member started the story and got her greatsword. I accepted the option to progress so that I could get mine too but got nothing. I got the achievement but not my greatsword. I thought that by accepting that I would get my reward too

I’m not in the mood for doing all that again. I’ve submitted a ticket and hopefully they can sort me out

Bought HoT yesterday morning and just got my extra character slot there now. Hopefully you will get yours too.

Oyranos, when did you buy the original gw2 game (not the actual expansion)?

During this weekends beta testing I was invited to a squad by a commander. Seeing squad members as blue diamond icons was useful but that was as far as it went I’m afraid.

I could not chat in squad chat. I could not chat in guild chat. I could, however, chat in say, map or team chat whilst in wvw.

I could not leave the squad, neither could the commander. This was only fixed by restarting the game.

Party setup was also bugging as at the start of beta as my game crashed and whilst my previous party members still had me in the party, I was not showing as being in a party on my screen.

For some reason I am not getting my reward for Don’t Tread on Me. The little yellow achievement bubble stayed showing right up until the end of the story but I didn’t get my reward.

I tried this quite a few times this morning, the first three times I didn’t get the reward despite having the achievement still showing. I failed in my attempt the fourth and fifth time and gave up in frustration. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? I submitted an ingame bug report with a screenshot but I’m not sure that this will help at all.

At least it gave me a good laugh. What more could you ask for from a game

I like the ram backpiece that was on the tp before. This is just silly. I love getting new skins but I’m not gonna get this one that’s for sure.

LMAO I have a five year old so replied with that in mind. This is NOT something that a five year old would come up with Getting back to the point. The backpieces are seriously LOL.

I’d be worried if my 5 year old came up with that to be honest. I just think the backpiece is ridiculous. End. Of.

I’m so sorry but when I saw these in game tonight I just couldn’t get over the rather obvious genitalia connection with these latest backpieces. A male ‘ram’ part with a pair of glorious balls? Seriously? WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

Thanks very much for your help sirsquishy. So far my isp (on the forum at least) has been receptive to the trace route results that I posted and I haven’t been fobbed off (yet). I’m expecting an engineer out today or tomorrow and am hoping that I can get some kind of answers from him when he comes but I don’t want to be fobbed off with the usual ’it’s not us it’s anet’ response that many people tend to get when I know that this isn’t the problem in my case. I’m thinking of printing off the results to show the engineer when he is here to see what he says. Fingers crossed I get a result soon.

Now, I am having ISP issues at the moment and have posted a tracert to their forum so that they can look into the issue for me. I haven’t a clue what it all means though and I ‘think’ it means that my connection issues are down to my isp. One of the guys in the guild suggested I run pingplotter which I will look into but I will run it in the evening which is when my connection goes to hell. Would anyone have any tips or advice they could add so that I can get back to playing my game a bit quicker, please? I’m hoping that by being a bit more proactive with my isp and not just ranting at them that I can get this fixed a bit quicker.

The Guild Alliances sound like a really good idea. The new worlds sound like a step in the right direction BUT please don’t turn wvw into a glorified version of EOTM.

I think some clarification is needed please John as to whether we would be changing to the New World and have the option of staying there (with a transfer system for players wishing to change worlds) or if the worlds would be restructured on a regular basis which would be my main concern. Restructuring on a regular basis would be too much like EOTM for me and I can see myself losing interest in the game which is something that I don’t want to have happen.

Brief description of what you’re seeing – Rubberbanding, skill lag, running into a wall and dc’ing every 5 to ten minutes every evening when I’m trying to play in wvw. Sometimes when trying to craft in LA I will dc there too.

I just had this myself too as I had just logged into the forum and not the game.
