Collections: retroactive credit

Now I realize that there is no way for them to know what skins I had unlocked unless they were in the pvp locker or were currently being worn by my toons.

Yes buying from TP is cheaper than crafting. Have you seen how much cotton and linen go for? I prefer to craft as it makes me feel more involved in the game.

I know there are some pretty expensive items to fulfill the collection. I was just looking at what I was close to completing and noticed how empty the armor collections were and how I had no hylek weapons unlocked.
Thanks for your responses.

I understand having to soulbind, I overlooked that. But the armors I did equip and no credit. The cotton and linen recipes would be way too expensive to craft again. I noticed that if I had the pvp version of the armor or weapon, I would have the credit which is also how I got most of the collection stuff.

Before the update that added collections, I had crafted almost all the hylek weapons to sell on TP. Not interested in the debate over how profitable this was. My point is since collections are out, I have unlocked the recipes and weapons in my crafting but I have none of the points in the collection. This isn’t really fair. If I have the recipe already unlocked, shouldn’t I get the credit for the collection? This is also the case in armor collections, I have maxed out all crafting professions but there’s no credit for previously unlocked recipes.

Off-hand Sword

I think guardian as well as other classes should be able to use sword off-hand. Though I love using torch, I would gladly give up it for a sword. Guards already have enough defensive abilities and skills.
