Guild Wars 2

It “should” play, you will have to mess with settings to find the one that gives you the right FPS with as much visual detail as you want, I have a Quad Core A10 2.4Ghz, with an ATI 7660, 8GB RAM, and a 750GB Hybrid drive (SSD section partitioned for windows only), and with Med-High Settings with AA off/1x, and shadows off.

My GPU on my new computer runs at 47 degrees Celsius with GW2, my CPU never goes above 43 Degrees Celsius. I am using the stock cooling fans, with an ATI A10, and Radeon 7660. I average about 45-57 FPS on Med-High Settings with Shadows off.

I have been playing since vanilla GW1, I play about 2-3 times a week during the overnight time (1:30am-3:30am eastern time). I mainly play PvE, but every now and then would like to do some PvP, I haven’t in GW2 yet, so I am a n00b when it comes to PvP in GW2, but I am a veteran to it in GW1.

I have a mic and speakers for teamspeak, ventrillo, mumble, etc…but with a 4 year old and a 1 year old, I am rarely able to jump in on VOIP servers.

I was in a large Guld, but they changed to having a 1,000 Achievement Point minimum to be in the guild, and I have currently as of me typing this, 608 Points, so I ended up having to step down from the guild.

Lately I have been just running around attempting to get 100% map completion of all areas…18% right now of total map completion.

I sometimes play during the day if the children let me, but at night I am playing at work, which is why I am limited in the times I am able to stay logged in.

I have two characters at the moment, an Asuran Ranger level 29ish, and a Norn Guardian Level 49.

I have the same problem with mine, what I found to fix it is to use your advanced power options in windows to throttle the CPU to 89% or lower. Once I did this I was able to see my CPU Heat go no higher than 60 Degrees, and had so little effect on the game that I have yet to really notice it.
