IMO shatter mesmers need a nerf

Shatter Mesmer is not OP, but becomes strong with a good team.
Dudisx, there are 2 main styles how you can play a shatter mesmer. They use the same build, just with some different traits and other weapons:
Sword/Rod; Greatsword:
- more the 1on1 Shatter
- more dmg and better burst, less grp support and rupt
- can kill fast alone
- can deal with thiefes
Staf; Greatsword:
- good dmg
- needs a thief or medi guard for fast kills
- insane support, if you know how to play it
- has problems with thiefes

But both builds are not the best 1on1 builds for mesmers and can be countered by power ranger (222222), thiefes, condi necros, medi guards and good played axe warriors. So in normal TPvP you have allways at least one counter in the other team.

Best for 1on1 are the PU-Builds and the Phantasmbuilds, i played the Phantasm alot and you can kill everything with that.

Now the issue with Mesmer/Thief Team:
You can counter this team hard with 2 Powerrangers or a Ranger/Mediguard combination, the mesmer/thief team will stand no chance against them.

The 2 of Longbow + Mediguard burst and your thief/mesmer is done. Why?:
- you cant interrupt the Ranger (pet, trait, elite)
- the ranger still hits you in Stealth, without F4 your dead, the thief is dead anyways (hello 10k dmg for nothing)
- the medi guard and the ranger pet cuts your mobility
- your mobility is useless, because you have to get close to the ranger, if the medi guard knows that, youve got a big problem.. .
- mediguard burst is instant, evade impossible or random
- you cant kill rangers and guards at the start with a good burst

-Currently against some professions you are going to dodge backwards to create a clone between you and your opponent, so that the clone can soak the damage. Not that you can do the whole dodging back, against certain profession you have to use this, otherwise you’ll just die. Now that will no longer be possible.

-Another example is the terrain unevenness. F.e. I get attacked outside of the clocktower, dodge, then go into the clocktower, and now can not use one of my clones, because he is outside (or stuck on a different position). Now even if I dodge multiple times inside the clocktower, my first shatter will only contain a very very low number of useful clones. It could be possible, that the whole shatter is wastes, because the clones are stuck somewhere.

-Imagine your three clones are standing at a certain range, but you want to create a clone next to you, to get a good daze off. This will also no longer be possible.

You are absolutly right eledhwen, playing against players that know these bugs with illusionary leap and other clones is the pure hell. . So the most Mes playing with Greatsword and Staff in TPvP but with that you have not that much bugs to handle, but with that weapons our only defense are the evades.. . And with that nerv.. it will be nearly impossible to face thiefes, off guards and warriors.
