well I’ll press through it, It just felt way too hard. Like I was doing something wrong kind of hard…but I am starting to read that a lot of people found it hard..
Hope I didn’t waste resources on these swords..

My main is having a HORRIBLE time i mean am having zero fun in this expansion, Am not even talking about events, Story missions, trying to get around the map am getting destroyed.
I had been using great-swords cause I like it, but I felt my DPS has been low, so I decided to try s/s and well..I cant tell if am doing much more dps but am getting owned just as fast.

I have no idea how to do this, I mean the difficulty level is way too high for story missions.

so any suggestions? tips? what am I missing? should not be this hard…

Am full exotic (except accessories) stacking mostly power/toughness or vitality

nvm did it…took hours…what a horrible boss fight.

so after reading around I get this boss fight..I do, however at about 50% health *when his in the middle, I got the green light, then fragile , then I killed one vortex to damage (kill-able ones) him….great, so 1 hour (for real) I am still just hitting him for 15-19….
this is stupid.
is there a work around? hes not spawning anything else for me to hit
I can only target boss, summoned facet and the green vortex crystal (not kill-able)
so now what?

I been back in GW2 for about a month, just doing daily world bosses, farm for a few token gear….
but i notice all these new shiny back slot items..well I Want one!
but….every time I google or wiki any item? it links me to another 5, then another 5 then it goes on forever, to the point my head explodes.

it cannot be this complex…I was under impression this is more of a casual game….am not getting that feeling anymore…

I know some are bought, or whatever, but even those? link you to another 4 crafted ones from that one….and its layer on top of layer on top of layer of items, that when you click any of those? another 4 layers of crafting…

I CANNOT and will not craft, in this game or any, every…I hate it.

ankitten ot dropping 200usd worth of gems 4 gold for a digital items…….

so my question is: where can I find a list of cool gear that i can obtain realistically for someone who just want to play a few hours every now and then? I don’t mind earning my gear but this seem WAY too complex …..

Srsly…google, youtube? even this forum turns up nothing!!!!!! I have been trying to find the location (points to Thaumanova Reactor) ..and I Cannot find the Concentrated Chaotic Radiation …someone please point this out to me….is it done in the fractal or something? hows this work ?

I have been jumping map to map based off a timer I found, but most of the time? maps empty….is there any active world boss rotations that are common ? so I dont waste time/money ?

I swore there used to be a brown door to it on the map like every other entrance that’s now gone….Ill have to go there then. thanks for the reply!

can I still enter? am level 73, and I took a break from gw2 and am looking for the fractal door, I know where it is, I saw it and ran one, but now its gone.

also, if i get in a group in another zone, when they enter, can i warp in from where i am at? or do i need to be close?

so each T3 set looks change via race?

well, when you make a human guardian and then a Norn guardian, the look of the armor is totally totally different that’s what had me thinking there was a huge difference in the look of a race/combo

so when you are making one, they are displaying Cultural armor I take it?

While making a character I notice that the look (outfit) changes a lot depending on race, my question is:

If I make a Norn Mesmer , and equip the same exact items as my human Mesmer has on, will it look the same? or even a Sylvari?

or can you get the Cultural gear for each race to wear to wear on your race?

or are they made totally different?

I would understand clothes looking totally different on Asura or Charr but thats it…

so any help? cause I want to make an alt but i don’t want to be stuck with a look I do not enjoy… I try to plan out all my alts ahead of time.

do you have to be lev 80 to start these?

if not , whats the best way to get in groups?
Am only lev 1 (am assuming) in Fractals. (level 66)

Can’t wait to see what the changes are.

I was looking around to see if there is any information on the changes they’ll be making soon.

nice link, but remember this is a game that said they want people to play the way they like, when in fact is VERY punishing/impossible if you don’t play it their way.

they horribly wrongly advertised this game and its features that’s the real problem.

that’s why so many like me are annoyed at this game cause I was expecting something else, from their mouths, not my assumption. Am already trying to sell this to a friend cause am sorry, with so many other great games out now, and soon. This Is just not worth its ticket price.

I don’t get it…its not fun or rewarding, what the hell?
everything one or two hits you….this is by far the worst dungeons i have ever seen, they are not fun,
and the bosses are boring and the same.

the world bosses are 100000 times better .

fix this or your going to lose a huge % of your gamers, everyone quits.

at least make a mode that you can learn on,. cause this is ridiculous

if there is another way to play, they need to introduce it into the game, cause that’s all its been so far for me, and everyone I have played with. videos I have watched….

Its fun at first but it feels stale and lazy, they need to give classes roles, there’s a reason that’s a standard in every online game ever.

meh…with how horrible the dungeons are, and how stale the combat is, and the NOT so dynamic events, broken zones and massive bugs, this game was really wrongly advertised and they should issue refunds, re-work the game. and release it when it really is ready, this is pathetic and to think I picked this over many great games that are coming out.
Where the hell did the good reviews come from? did they pay everyone off?
this is by far the worst release of a new online game I have ever seen.

So far thats all the combat is……just people mindlessly running around and dodge ….thats it?

its messy, sloppy, and sets combat in games back 15 years….

I have seen the fall and very rare rise of every mmorpg SWG, SWTOR, The matrix, COH, TERA (very soon) …so many I cant even bring them all up, but never, never have I seen a game screw itself over this quickly, In my long history of online gaming this is by far the worst treatment I have seen.
If this game deepened on monthly subscriptions I can assure you it would go f2p very soon.

am not saying this to be negative, I really love this games pve, even with the bugs and the not so dynamic events. but as its been said over and over now, the end game and dungeons are killing it fast, and hard…

I still want to see it rise above all the games that have left a bad taste in my mouth…but I can assure you unless they address this issues before December, or even sooner. its done for, a lot of damage has already been done.
the question is, will they right their wrong? and lose this “its our game deal with it” attitude?

I already seen lots of posts on sites like Craigslist of people trying to sell it. that’s sad its not even a month yet……

I just looted some chests they had 1 and 4 copper in them, and some trash level gear, really? I mean…..really?

they are doing something different, yes. but the wrong way.

what they SHOULD have done was make it dynamic. changing…interesting….
not just overly hard, that’s not new.

they did not change the game, they made it harder, not always a bad thing but they did it wrong (costing more to go in then coming out).

fix rewards or your going to lose a lot of players, its that simple.

I have a bad feeling they won’t.
People think these posts are pointless and its just crying, but in fact we like the game, we want to play and enjoy it. but a huge huge part of that is messed up, badly and these post serve to get their attention , and they do. how do i know? they deleted 3 of mine that where in the posting guild lines.
but i spent my 59.99+tax so am going to get my worth out of it, but I Can assure you I wont buy a single gem, and If they don’t at least address this issue I wont be coming back after I have had my fill of pve,

I don’t mind the buffs, or even how hard it is, that’s not the real issue, its ALL of the dungeons are costing more then your making for money, or gear.

I enjoy doing dungeons for fun AND rewards, I wish i had waited till after this patch to look into buying the game. cause this has no staying power for me, and many many many other people.

there seems to be a confusion, no ones really asking for it all to be given to them easily, its just the balance right now is way out of whack, making it not fun nor rewarding to do dungeons, which for me (And many others) Is a huge enjoyment for online games.

if you don’t agree, then you don’t understand cause you probably value a different aspect of the game then we do. then why are you even on this topic?

I already notice a huge drop in active players, and zones. so can players move on? nope. and its their loss not ours cause when this is on sell for 19.99 next to The secret world and TERA online, they will know why.

The crying is to get the attention of the devs to address a problem most gamers are having with their product, that’s the point.

can I write this? or will this get trashed too? worst treatment I have ever experienced from an online game company.

did you not read or watch a single interview? they have been quoted many times , hell even in the most recent dev post about their “end game” about how they don’t want it to be a grind.

I agree with TC they dropped the ball big time, anyone remember star wars galaxies? They did one horrible update and lost all the subscribers overnight, They keep going down this ugly path and that’s exactly what will happen, and rightfully so.

It’ll never stop, I for one will keep it going, am annoyed and disappointed. they lied about the type of game this would be, plain and simple. They should issue refunds.

don’t like it? don’t come to this section , cause I for one am going to fill it up with complaints in till something Is addressed. or am issued a refund for buying a game that is horribly broken and wrongly advertised to steal our money, yes steal that’s what they did. that’s what liars do

and this game advertised a lot. and said many many things it did not deliver on, the events are not really dynamic, quests hubs are just hidden, COUNTLESS bugs that should not have made it out of beta….

and yes todays update made it even more of a grind then they said it would be (which was already horrible)

I do love the game play and use of dodge and split second decisions but that only lasts so long.

I really want them to address this issue. I don’t really like wow anymore but it at least has a solid structure. I wanted to find a game to kill it for me…thought it was this.

thats a good point, i do feel like they are pushing their gamers into that….between travel costs (2+ silver for some zones and am only lev 53) ?
rewards for a heart are (at my level) 1.5s?
do the math….not worth it what so ever.
also take into account how hard the zones are (for me at least and most people) you die, a lot….more repairs. your lucky to break even after selling junk….

again, they said “no grind” but its more of a grind then WOW , yes i went there cause its true.

no ones asking for that one super easy grind. but as it stands its not worth it AT ALL.
I hate grinding, but there is literately no reward for doing it what so ever. cause after a few times? you see the whole dungeon…whats to add?

why not just take them out of the game all together if thats the route they wanted to take.

It must be a very small group of gamers they are aiming for, I guess cause theres no monthly fee they don’t care if people stay or not ?

I just started playing last week, am lev 53. am starting to try explore mode, and I have no idea why I would ever do them again, or try to.

everything 1 hits you, am sure there is some more strategy to it, but after countless groups and trys …not even close. it should not be THAT hard, each boss feels worst then raid bosses from other games, with NO reward. in fact…it costs you…

w/e that’s not my real problem, its whats the reward? after who knows how much in repairs, useless items? no money? no gear?

Am not asking for a legendary every run , no no I want to earn it, but this is pointless grind (which they said the game won’t have) for nothing….

so am trying to understand what is the appeal?
is there some kind of reward am missing? and don’t say (to play the game) just to argue, its an mmorpg and online gamers have a standard. play ANY OTHER game and you know what am talking about.
