I ran into this problem as well. Initially it was downloading ~2MB/sec and I felt that was acceptable. When it hit ~80% it hardly reached 120KB/sec and frequently stopped. I connected to my VPN and it downloaded the last 10% at 5+MB/sec. If you have access to an alternate internet connection (phone tether) or a VPN, I would try it. I wish I did sooner.

vping actually let you go faster? what was wrong with your connection or IP, seems silly that the vpn would actually change things. Makes me think maybe it’s not on their side.

yeah my download is insanely slow, like 24kbs or something.

Its been going for hours and im only 2% done. I should have never uninstalled.

I’d love to meet new friends in a new game. I have no server yet but I plan on playing on a PvE US EST if I can, once I finish downloading and logging in.

Is the download mega slow for you too?

Maybe ill make a new guy on a server on the east coast and we can level

Hey guys, I am not new really but I left the game a while back after really not finding that community feeling. I don’t have any IRL friends that play but I am all for making friends on here.
I forget the level of my main, id assume in the 40’s maybe but I was wondering if anybody would like to take me in. Maybe run an instance or two with me or even invite me to a guild/clan?

Ok I know this seems crazy but it has happened to me a few times and i think it might be a driver issue in the end but i just want to see if you guys can help out.
So over the past few months i have had to reformat my computer and reinstall windows due to many issues. They all seem to be issues caused while patching other games. The other games patch fine, but after installing guild wars 2. Then a new patch comes out on steam or planet side 2 needs to patch the client in both cases will lockup the whole computer.
After that I sometimes can or cannot reboot into safe mode, regular windows booting is out of the question.
When it first happened i think i remember somebody mentioning some ‘panda’ or ‘pando’ client that many games use and it helps you download faster or something.

Anybody have any idea what might be happening with these lame details i have provided?
