Same card. (actually, happens with ANY card I try now.)
I’ve tried again with different credit cards. Now MY email address must be the one that’s being associated with some sort of fraud, as its declining every single card I’ve tried. (3) – Only explanation I can think of.
Gilosean: Yes. I submitted both sets of support ticket information to Gaile yesterday evening.
As of a few minutes ago billing or support…or whoever.. sent both myself and him a message saying he was good to go, and that the previous purchase had been voided/serial blocked, and now his account can add a new serial. Now it won’t take the CC I used to purchase previously. I just dont get it. This is really deplorable support. I love the game, i’ve loved it since beta…but wow this is atrocious. (No offense to you Gaile. It seems to be a procedural issue, not a personal one.)
They “released” the charge, voided the old SERIAL, and now when I attempt to repurchase the game its telling me invalid credit card. This is the same card. Same information. OMFG.
Apparently they thought his email address was involved in unauthorized transactions. What? You people need to get with it.
I have still not heard back from support or ANYONE regarding this. This is crazy. I’ve never had any kind of issues like this before. There’s no support or billing number to call to get this resolved. What the heck?
I did this exact thing Gaile, and wrote you about it yesterday, and my friend has been unable to login (his game wasn’ teven finished downloading) when on his account it said he’d had Unacceptable behaviour and to try again after the ban was gone. This is ridiculous. I’ve gotten no responses from support either (and neither has he.)
I sent the information (and more specifics) to you as a PM.
I purchased (gifted) a Deluxe Digital copy of GW2 to a friend “shane.7516” and he is receiving error 45:11:2:779 – That his account has been blocked due to unacceptable behaviour and to try again when the ban expires. He hasn’t even finished downloading the game to play and the message has popped up while its downloading. How can he have done something unacceptable behaviour wise? This was purchased a little under 2 hours ago, Just what is going on here? Why is there no support or billing number to call? I want this resolved immediately.

tl;dr : ^^ : We’re still pissed. This isn’t fixed. This is horrible, horrible customer service and creates unsatisfied customers. My personal story IS important to me as its one reason my bro in law and I bought this game. Now on my main I’ve been stuck for 2 months. Ridiculous. Ridiculous patches go in to fix little smarmy crap but we can’t get a workaround or fix for our MAIN STORYLINE?
I’m on my 3rd Alt in the time its taken this bug to get fixed, and honestly, I just want to complete the personal story on my main. This is a pretty huge problem considering we’re about to do a Refer-a-friend event, doesn’t give new/potential players the warm fuzzies… and I’ve referred a friend already who is also experiencing same bug… If only we’d known it would take a month and a half to fix a simple storyline quest… Or been able to go back in time and redo the choice.

Seriously… I just tried it after this latest patch (november 6th) – In the other thread they said this might be fixed november 5th. Honestly, I have no clue where to go with my character. What am I supposed to do? As if the storyline direction wasn’t bad enough already, I’m now level 80 and I’m stuck on a level 45 story quest. I’ve never left a level 35-45 zone, though. I’ve just been leveling with friends in lowbie areas…doing events w/them.
This is ridiculous, because I know this isn’t how its supposed to be.
This is a major showstopper for the personal story chain, and they’re saying it wont be fixed until “sometime in november”? We’ve seen smaller hotfixes go out. This is my first real issue with the game up to this point but wow… just… wow.
