Hey guys,
experienced a few bugs with the Reaper and basic Necro skills over the BWE3:
Reaper Bugs:
– Deaths Charge’s Leap Finisher shows the succesful combo but if you leave shroud to early you don’t get the aura/effect (might be just a animation cancel though)
- Grasping Darknes seems to have a lot of Line of Sight issues, even though you are in plain sight (might be related to some irregularities in the ground)
General Necro Bugs:
- Spectral Wall doesn’t apply Protection if you already have protection on you (much like the old Temporal Curtain on Mesmer)
- Spectral Armor stays active if you enter Shroud even though it says in the tooltip that it shouldn’t
would like to hear if anyone else experienced those bugs and of course sorry if someone already mentioned some of those
i completely agree korgov, grieving would be a problem and a voting system for community might not be doable. but what about making changes cost 1g or such? maybe even make it 10g, not a big cost for a community but for few people that just like to troll it might be? a changelog would be cool as well, being able to report people for abusing/trolling.
as far as the information being already available goes: yes there are those websites and mapchat spam also is an option. i’m just trying to find a different way for people to get the information ingame and keeping the mapchat a bit cleaner for scout reports and such. that said i’m not sure if it even will get rid of it. build suggestions on the info wall might still be just linking to websites and ts spamming will still be just a way of showing people that you are commanding on ts.

with the increasing numbers of new players (or returning players) coming into wvw, getting the neccesary info to them got harder. spamming ts details over and over again and linking to community run websites, is a nuisance and many people don’t use the websites since it takes them out of the game. that’s why i’m suggesting a “community-run info wall” in every borderland, much like the message of the day in guilds. maybe even make it a “quest objective” for when you first enter wvw.
what use i see for it:
– place for ts details
– suggested builds (or even contact details for volunteering class teachers from the community)
– recruitment messages for guilds
– suggested commander tag colours for different roles
– raid/commander schedules
what problems i see with it:
– too much information being posted on it
– people trolling the info board (which may be handled the same way guild messages are handled so you see who changed it)
– of course developing time would be needed for the feature
let me know what you guys think about it. do you think it’s an unnecessary feature? could it be handled differently?
i had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. looked to me like the defend event for the siege devourer was bugged (this one: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Defend_the_siege_devourer_while_it_assists_the_troops). the devourer was at it’s destination but the npc didn’t move with it so it got stuck.
actually every server does zerg. it usually just comes down to how many commanders are active and in that case at least the gold servers usually have at least one commander on the map.

the gold league servers (1-9) mostly have the best coverage at all times but in my opinion require you too run with the “zerg” (a big group of players following one commander) in order to really achieve something. the silver league servers (10-18) have less coverage but in my opinion give you the possibility to achieve things in smaller groups. the bronze league servers (19-27) have the smallest player base and for that reason the least coverage.
but to be honest i played in all tiers and always had fun, so you can’t really choose wrong. right now i’m playing on gandara a gold league server and it really is a blast when it comes to wvw, since the server only recently joined the gold league.

i thought the main reason for the reduction was to make the active use of healing signet more stronger than its passive. because right now using the active punishes you for it and that’s not the actual purpose of any skill in my opinion. i think there even was a lifestream where they mentioned it.
