I do not usually post but I feel that I need to suggest something for this WvW beta:

Instead of putting one of the server’s names and making the merged server’s players feel like their home is now gone, change the name to either NA1, NA2, NA3 to however many there are or just put the colors Green1, Green2, Red1, Red2, etc. Whichever server we are playing together with can be at the bottom of the team name.

Anyone else has suggestions that they like to add on this?

I agree that the force merge is not good. The reason why people stay on a server is due to server loyalty. If you are going to merge servers, then I suggest that it is done in such a way that none of the names of the servers show. Just simply put NA1, NA2 or just put down Blue, Red, Green etc and then we see who we have been paired against after. The server that lost their name will feel betrayed no matter what. After so many years of fighting on that server, refusing to leave even though they have been zerged over thousands of times, it is a home to the players and Anet just went and took that away without even thinking how it might affect them. So I seriously hope that Anet takes heed and do some wise changes after Beta is over so that players from those servers do not feel betrayed.

Instead of attacking the OP for everything else he was or he wasn’t, we should look at what he is saying and react to it by putting ourselves in the shoes of those players in the servers that had the home names taken off.

I am sorry but I don’t think those who like jp get it. There are JP in cartographer title too, although not all, but enough to stop people who can’t do them from achieving the title. The JP will be what stop me from buying any new contents when and if they come out. I bought the game to play Guild Wars, not Super Mario Brothers.

Everytime after Anet sent me an Email Account Notice, the next thing I know, I get an Email Authentication that someone is trying to access my account from somewhere else. Then I go to support and it asked me to reset my password and when I click that, no emails ever comes! It gets really upsetting that it is happening everytime. Am I the only one having this issue?
