I’ve been getting it too
Would love this, actually. Often open up the hero menu to check achievements while on the mood, or inventory. This would be a nice quality of life thing.
I personally like the melding of science and magic in guild wars. Sure the magitech thing isn’t anything new, but I like the aesthetic of guild wars magitech(and normal tech) stuff. I find myself bored of knights in castles battling evil dragons. While guild wars has knight like figures and dragons I enjoy the different flavor it brings with its tech stuff.
On the subject of mystery, I find the more scifi touches to actually intrigue me more. Like, the little plot points about chaos magic tearing holes in reality to alternate dimensions or the fractals placing people at points from the past to be very interesting.
First and foremost, I’m actually enjoying the patch quite a bit. I loved all of the gauntlet fights before Liadri. They were challenging but easy enough to beat once you learned the mechanics and it felt good to do so. I even think Liadri is fine for the most part, but there are some things I take issue with.
First, the rooting on the crystals is just annoying. Its not exactly a huge deal for me but I think its a little too finicky.
Second, and my main problem, is the fact that the boss can cripple you in the second phase. The fight demands a lot of movement and a lot of awareness towards everything going on (liadri, her insta-kill clones, the pull orb, the shadow fall), I think being crippled on top of that is just too much. I do understand the fight is meant to be very challenging but I think this is just one too many mechanics.
Lastly, the look of the floor was a poor choice and can make it hard to see the circles. And the orbs should actually be killable by ranged attacks instead of always being obstructed. So thats my two cents

Came into this thread expecting another painfully stupid suggestion.
Received a laugh. Good show OP
Would rather have a petition for people to stop complaining about this. You should absolutely not be able to die and just rush back in over and over. If you die, suck it up and take your dirt nap.
Name: Abi, Waringguilds
Main Character: Innis(80 engineer)
Current Server: Sanctum of Rall
Interested Activities: Fractals in particular. She has only done a few of them and am a very low fractal level so would be looking to play with someone who would perhaps help her progress through them and learn them as she essnetially missed the boat when they were released by being distracted with other things.. Would also like to play more dungons, have expereince with most of those though with the exception of arah and a few paths from other dungons. She does Wvw from time to time as well but pve is mostly what she has focused on.
Active: All week
Additional Comments: Well obviously she has some odd speach patterns, not something she can help so would rather not be asked about it all the time. Shes rather shy and generally bad at starting conversations and do take a while to get used to people but would like to have some more people to play with.
Shes usually calm and polite and not much gets under her skin(and even if something does she tries to ask nicely not to do it) so she’d like to play with people of a similar mindset as it is no fun being in a dungon and having someone getting rage-y. Which, well, it seems like something like this trying to bring players together many would have such a mindset.
When it comes to talking to people she generally finds one on one conversation or a small group easier, she does like chatting with people she gets along with but tend to just get sort of lost when trying to hold a conversation in a large group. Last thing she’d like to say in that vain is she dislikes using voice chat as listening to people speak makes her rather jittery.
Heh, well, that got a little too rambly. But, oh well.
Are you willing to participate in Operation: UNION’S project, Y/N?:
Maybe, may not always represent the guild but would not mind of constantly representing is not a requirement.
We have a trait which makes us drink an elixer s at 25% HP, which makes us invulnerable to damage for three seconds.
Having just finished the ancient karka event, I just wanted to come on here and give my thanks to arenanet for the event. While it wasn’t perfect and I’m sure there are already plenty of people whining about this or that, I wanted to say that I enjoyed this event very much for what it was.
Even without the rewards, which are pretty darn nice by the way, it was a nice experience I will remember fondly. I’m not the best at giving in depth feedback so I’ll leave it at that. Thanks for the first big event, it was fun and will be looking forward to the next one.
Just wanted to say this is a great post. As someone who had been very irritated at the unintelligible complaining plaguing the forum(like most MMO forums), can only imagine how annoying it must be for devs. Typing something out rationally HAS to go a long way
Nothing drops anything, the exotic scepter I got off a random mob begs to differ.
People should stop coming to forums just to whine.
Not sure if its a exactly a bug or not, but found out today that using elixer X underwater gives you no skills to use while transformed. Bug or not its pretty wonky.
