So Fresh Air on 25th of June ele’s got the new Grandmarster trait which had a cool down of 5 sec, on the 9th of July, there was a bug where the CD was 3 sec instead of 5.
Now when the Oct 15th update AKA “support buff” the Fresh Air trait, the tool tip has no cool down and there does’t seem to have the 5 sec cool down. When there was no patch notes saying “fresh air – removed CD” or something. Is this a bug or a feature that the PN guy missed?

OP, I would go with a warrior for the battle standard best rez skill there is and can change a battle on a whim. plus they’re getting a huge support buff in the next pach.

I don’t know if this is a bug but, when i was looking for a party in wvw, i manged to find party’s that don’t belong to my world (server).

Just gonna mention Number 2 exists already. You have to open your map and shift-click (or alt click, its one of those) and you can place 4 distinct markers on the map that your squad can see. I’ve gotten most use out of them in the Proxemics lab guild puzzle.

I feel the big problem is to get pugs into your squad. A possible fix to this could be a lfg system (are we getting this?) and maybe have a wvwvw tab showing all the commanders who are taged up at the moment and in which borderland they are in. Maybe have the lfg listing pop up to the wvwvw tab apon entering a borderland.

here is my take on a Condition Damage ele.
the sPVP build is focus on high cc and fire/bleeding as your main source of dps while having a ton of condition removal.
its an 20/0/30/20 with x6 runes of undead so you are not too squishy.

Welcome to the cc game. As an staff ele your job is to blind/immobilize/chill/stun/knock back and cause vulnerability while punishing the people who have fell in to your traps. the next thing you have as an staff ele is in kit combo. We have so far 3 ways of blasting in our own fields arcane blast, eruption and evasive arcane. this makes us the best support or cc tank in the game (imo). what a-net should do with the staff is make:

• ice spike a blast finisher
• remove the delay on larva font’s first tic
• have a trait to move the cast time on the skill animation, give us a skill queue on
  - larva font, ice spike, geyser, frozen ground, gust, static field, eruption, unsteady ground and shock-wave.
  this should make the staff feel more of an aoe nuking tool

and in general:

• give glyph of storms combo fields ie:
  - fire storm = fire field
  - ice storm = either ice or water field
  - lightning storm = air field
  - sand storm = smoke (because of aoe invs is always fun)
• give dragon’s tooth into a ground targeting
• have conjure weapons share stats to any scale to allies (could add this to the VII trait)
• because this is a grand master trait change XI (persisting flames) from fire fields last 30% longer to all fields last 30% longer
• give flame-strike a “sword animation” because the skill isn’t flame-uppercut
• have weakness do something to crit chance

something else i would add to list of why you should choose ioj. in the video below, is when the oceanic players tried to re-flip SM from dh in the mach up of dr/dh/ioj

In terms of balance, I don’t think many are going to advise a T7 world, let alone see many from those worlds encouraging such a move – that’s a pretty close-run race as it stands.

As far as T6 goes, IoJ and, to a lesser extent, SF seem like they could do with the extra NA coverage – although I can’t say I’ve had much interaction with their respective communities.

T5… well, both AR and BP could do with some serious help to even up the match against EBay. Both have scrapped it up from the lower ranks, so that’s probably a good sign of a fairly dedicated community (and judging from the earlier posters, both would welcome fresh blood). EBay itself is in a curious situation where it massively outnumbers the rest of the tier, but is still 90 rating points behind the next tier, thanks to the joys of Glicko. I like some of the EBay guys, but I’m hesitant to recommend them purely on that basis – for them to overcome that, they’d probably have to be stronger than any current T4 world is right now, which honestly does suck royally for them and any world that finds themselves in that kind of situation.

If you were considering T4 (the last queue I personally saw was a fair while ago and whilst I can’t entirely speak for SBI or CD, I would be surprised if they regularly saw two maps queued on reset night – certainly would doubt they saw a single queue for most of the week), there’s a lot of good folks on SBI and they’re probably the strongest overall as far as NA goes. CD seem to have the least militia, but have some solid organised guilds backing it up. SoS… I don’t really want to blather too much about given that 1) other folks have already made/will make the case for it and 2) I’d rather avoid the inherent bias towards my own world. There are only two things I would say. Firstly, that a move into SoS is probably going to be a move into T3, where we’re not going to be winning week in, week out like we are at the moment. Secondly, whilst I’m sure you’re more interested in things from the NA perspective, if you did end up considering T4 worlds too, I don’t mind sitting down and having a natter about SoS from the EU perspective.

I’m from ioj and we get out man during the na day crew from what I’ve heard. The server seems to relying on us oceanic players to either make a push or take every thing back.

Ok lets take a step back and think on what games offer large open warfare like planet side , battlefield, etc. The point is that Anet needs to rethink about the blue Doritos, squads and commander UI. what i mean is give the commander more tools and rewards to give for defending or attacking objectives IE. com john can sent 3 party’s to a tower and if the party’s can complete the task that was given they will receive bonus gold,w/exp, karma and maybe BoH.
