Sorry about the late reply. No the whole PC doesn’t crash, and it has nothing to do with my video card, the driver is up to date and this never used to happen, its only been since one of the updates. many people have been experiencing the same problem. The monitor is still working when it happens. It must have something to do with the game.

Whats happening with this issue, is there a fix your not posting here? It’s been 7 months since this thread was opened and there must be a fix by now. I opened up a new thread in the hope that someone can help. I really want to take part in the new LA event, for longer than 10 minutes at a time. My new thread is here.

The issue of the black screen that sooo very many people are experiencing is still causing an issue, When will this be fixed, I have had no problems before, now I can’t play for more than 10 to 15 minutes.
I have tried:
Deleting local.dat
Updating my drivers
Deleting gw2cache
Repairing client
Adjusting anti-aliasing settings in catalyst control center
Changing in game resolution

Other dev suggestions as well can’t remember them all, sooo many suggestions….its as if the Guildwars team are trying very hard to put the blame on the players, with so many people experiencing this it can’t be our fault….if you can’t fix it just say so, I’ll go play Star Wars till your able!
