They will only contact you with an email saying that you need to contact them. they will not ask you to visit a website nor will they ask you to verify you account info(password, login info, etc),

Ok now I am having to auth everytime I log into the game. So I have to check my email each time I log in.

I used to have to use the email then switched to the mobile app and is way easier

I have been playing GW since it came out and then GW2 since beta so it comes as no surprise I guess when I see people complaining all the time about vet players dissing on the new guy. I have introduced lots of my friends recently to GW2 and they (in the beginning) really liked it but started to hate it as they progressed. After listening to them I decided to do an experiment to see first hand what they were talking about. I joined 5 random groups and played like a new player that has never done dungeons. The results are in and I see that my faith in humanity has been flushed down the toilet. 4 of the groups kicked me after a few mistakes without warning. 1 group had a member that got so verbally abusive that I wanted to pull him through the speaker, spank him, and put him in a crib with a binky to shut him up. Some members apologized for kicking, while others just ignored my question of why i was kicked. Does anyone else have stories or suggestions as to what we can do to prevent kicking?

they actually need to make it harder for gold sellers to operate. make perm bans, for both buyer and seller. have alerts for all gold transactions above a certian amount, among other things. there are several things that can be done

We are a new guild with adult orientated members who just like to play the game, have fun, help each other out, and just kick some butt.
