This is something I’ve been thinking about since the very start of my Asura Elementalist. You don’t even have to go outside of Metrica Province to know all you need to about the Inquest. They lie, they steal, they murder, they sacrifice sentient beings for their experiments, they claim other krewe’s plagiarized them when in fact it is the Inquest doing the plagiarizing. Heck, they even openly attack and steal resources from Asura outposts! And you see all of this just in the Asura starting zone! I don’t even have to mention all the other terrible things the Inquest do in other parts of the world.

So why is it that the Asura seem to tolerate all of this? The Inquest are allowed to participate in the Snaff prize contest. The Inquest even have a recruiting station right inside Rata Sum! Their recruiters are allowed to spew their lies to Asura progeny in the heart of Asura territory and it’s left only up to us, the players, to drive them off. Why don’t the Asura just toss out the Inquest from Rata Sum? Is there something in the lore I’m not aware of? Or do the Asura have a reason so genius that my meager brain can’t comprehend it?

The trait is working properly with the glyph of lesser elemental. When the elemental is up the number you see counting down is the remaining time on the elemental. It is not until after the elemental dies or expires that the cool down starts.

That said, it does appear that this trait is bugged with the glyph of elemental (the elite version). When you use the skill it starts the duration countdown from 96 (which is what the recharge time is supposed to be, not the duration) and when the elemental is gone it still takes 120 seconds to recharge (it’s supposed to be 96 with the trait).
