The horrible ping. Experienced in wvw, fa/sos/yb matchup. /ip shows 64.25.38.169
Any idea why this is happening? There’re several other guildies having the same problem.
Have been getting quite some lag spikes these few days, making the game quite hard to play. Skills not casting, rubberbanding of other players, porting around etc.
I’d add a gw2 network diagnostic file but my system is in another language and well, it somehow shows up in my language instead of english.
Anyone getting the same thing? Lag spikes across most maps, more noticable in wvw.
Can we at least get an expected date/time for a fix? If nothing works at all, devs, can we at least get a roll back to the situation pre-patch? The game has been almost un-playable for a week now, and it’s really a shame. If the problem cannot be fixed in a short time, can we at least enjoy the game how it was instead of having to wait without any notice as to when it’ll be fixed? Just revert the patch, kitten .
Before patch: ~45 fps..
After patch: ~20 fps.
Is anyone else having problems with fps after patch?
I’m using AMD Radeon HD 6530D graphics card, AMD A6-3670 APU with HD graphics processor, if there’s anything that I can provide to solve this problem please do say as well.
Is there any reason behind balance stance giving only 5 stacks of stability while dolyak signet giving 10?
It would seem to me that balance stance is more “stability” oriented than dolyak signet, I mean, it’s “balanced” stance afterall, and without changing it to what stab would originally be it got changed to 5 stacks instead of 10?
Guardian “stand your ground” alone gives 5 stacks to a whole party with a lot less a CD, along with the retail it gives, so whhhyyyyy do warriors recieve less on a skill with a longer CD?

I’m not too sure if this is happening to other matchups, but as of the latest reset, connectivity lag is real in the sos-yb-db matchup. Whenever there’s a fight every single skill takes 10+ seconds to cast, also rubberbanding here and there.
Please if you’re from other matchups and are encountering the same lag, do post here. And I hope we get some response from the devs soon. At least tell us you’re aware of the situation please.

so…if my ISP does dynamically assign me IP adresses, I should have to authenicate every time I log in, since the IP adress is changed, right :|?
If that’s the case, then I don’t think so. Never have to re-authenicate when I log in. If that’s not the case, I’ll ring them up

I’ve been playing the game for the whole time (beta till now), and I notice that every single time an update is about to hit, I get lag spikes. The problem persists until a few days after the update hits.
At other times, like during the wvw tounry, I get no lag as there weren’t any updates during that period. But right the day before the H’ween update the problem appears again and I’m still lagging quite hard atm.
Nothing has been done to the computer in terms of software and stuff. I still go on youtube at the very same speed as I used to, online speed-tests provided by ISPs all show similar readings during tounry and now, but gw2 lags a lot.
Any solutions to that, or rather, any idea why this is happening?
Anyone noticed if you killed a person, you don’t get anything (not even exp, like, you get no credit) for killing him a second time within a short time span? Is this a bug or a stealth nerf to drops in wvw :<?
As said in the recent dev blogpost, the Chinese version of gw2 is going to launch soon.
My question is, will the players from China/Taiwan be forced to transfer to the Chinese server? Or can we still stay in this server?
anyone noticed that the fountain-admiring NPC “Linsay Morell” in lion’s arch is still admiring the non-existent fountain…?
perhaps they can change the dialog into something like ‘the fountain exploded’ or something

Do the Devs think that people playing dungeon should follow some kind of restrictions? Say, we should invest some points into toughness, vitality, etc to keep ourselves alive? Or should we have like at least 1 guardian in the party?
Shouldn’t dungeons be at least do-able for everyone in any equipments, or of any profession?
I just did the seraph path in CM and well, I’m not sure if we did bad but I end up losing 20silver after even selling the blue armors. It’s ok to have harder dungeon paths, but can the rewards be adjusted accordingly? Or do we have to be in a guild and do such dungeon paths with a “pro” party in order to enjoy ourselves?
