I’ve been with this guild for a few months now and can honestly say that they’ve all been very welcoming and are really good company.

Hey, I’d like an invite to the NA guild if you have any spots open.

I’m a long-time player but am looking for some assistance with dungeons to help me get some familiarity and pick up some tips. I’ve generally avoided LFG as I haven’t felt experienced enough, so this seems like a perfect opportunity.

Thought I’d post a quick update.

So I started purchasing ToT bags off the TP and opening them again… figured that as long as I had magic find to gain by opening them (and the MF seems to be pretty good from ToT bags), then I could justify what I was doing.

I still don’t have that kitten wolf pup, and now I can’t justify opening any more bags since I just reached the magic find cap of 300% from consuming luck (it was 170% when the halloween patch dropped).

So I guess in one way I’m happy that I was able to get my magic find maxed. But on the other hand, there is the disappointment that I wasn’t able to get the mini to drop in over 150,000 bags (I’m sure it was quite a bit more, but I honestly stopped counting).

I was pretty sure that by this point I would have gotten her, but I guess not. You would think that a week of doing nothing but opening bags when logged in would pay off, but not so much.

Sorry, this wasn’t meant to sound whingy… but I guess it kinda took that tone. My hat goes off to others that have the patience and (more importantly) sheer resources to go even further than I did.

I just hit my self-imposed limit… 100,000 ToT bags opened… no Gwynefyrdd.

Not feeling amazingly lucky right now, but it’s not unexpected. The RNG gods don’t usually favour me – every other exotic mini (ho-ho-tron, watchwork moa, etc) I’ve had to buy off the TP since they never dropped for me.

On the bright side, my magic find has now boosted itself to a base of 250%

as someone who mains a male caster, i’m just happy that the males got some nice pieces to work with for this release… usually it’s more like the case of the phoenix armor that was released – amazing for females, not nearly as amazing for males :\

i got this set for my male mesmer and i think it looks great… it is a nice caster look without going the route of full floor-length robes.

i’d like to see some sets similar in silhouette to the original guild wars ele armor, but this is a definite step up from the previous gem store releases imo. hope to see more like this.

definitely agree with the above response. i just got it on a solo run without having to repeat any of the areas.

the past two nights i wasn’t able to get the achievement – first night was me and one other person after the other members left, and we must have scoured the map for at least an hour before giving up. tonight was the same story, but it was me and two other players.

when i got the achievement on the solo run, i didn’t destroy anything that hadn’t been destroyed on previous runs nor did i have to double check anything.

Hi, just adding myself to the list of people experiencing lag issues.

I am from Australia which usually means higher latency than most for many games, however when I first started GW2 there were surprisingly few issues with lag. I am constantly experiencing lag however since around the 14th of September (at best constant lag of 2 seconds between skill activations, at worst massive lag spikes rendering the game almost unplayable) and there haven’t been any periods where play quality was returned to its original pre-14th state.

I have updated all drivers and have subscribed with two separate latency reduction programs to try and alleviate the issues I am experiencing, but nothing has improved the issues with lag.

I am currently not experiencing any issues with any other online games. Whenever I have had issues previously, latency reduction programs will resolve most of the lag but it’s just not working in this instance.

Hopefully there is a fix or workaround in the near future that can be implemented to return my gaming experience to its previous state, and I look forward to hearing of any updates regarding this issue.

I should also add that I am on Isle of Janthir.
