You are focusing too much on Coil
I am aware that the timeline is hard to manipulate with Living World around. Coil was just the first example that came to my mind.
1 – Two separate versions of dialogue from a NPC, one for character that completed something and one dialogue for other character that did not.
2 – Slowly change the maps. Make a team that will slowly change the maps in a way to feel like the map is evolving. For example you could change hearts in which you fight risen to simply clearing out the last risen (Before – Defend against the risen / After – Drive out the remaining Risen from this area). It is a small change, but the details are what matters.
3 – Make the players know where is the map located on a timeline when they enter.
These are just a few solutions that came to my mind while writing this. They are just rough ideas but I think you understand what I mean. Make the players who completed Their Personal Story/Living World that they did completed them, that’s what it is all about.
Hi
So we have Mordremoth AND his minions in-game for quite some time right? I think time has come to replace the old “hints” about mordremoth (aka infinite coil reactor husk and others) with stuff that is up to date. Place Mordrem in Infinite Coil and overall make the open world react more to the story. Morderm are attacking for so long and Inquest still didn’t get their hands on one? Also the Great Jungle Wurm (Caledon Forrest Boss) is under influence of Mordremoth as is the whole swamp since the release of GW2… I think this should be changed to reflect Living World in Open World.

I have my 10 – 0 – 30 – 30 – 0 warrior with Hammer/Sword+Shield with Soldier’s armor + dolyak runes… can I take it into dungeons/fractals without buying these zerkers that everyone is running right now without having a bigger problems? I wanted to go dungeons as warrior becouse I find it most fun to play, but everyone is running Zerkers and I hope that the fact I dont have them ( and dont really want to buy them ) will not prevent me from doing these things.

They said it, but YOU again not read the WHOLE ARTICLE! We dont want mounts for speed but for look, and the FLYING BROOM is already here! Just read before you write something guys. Only mentioned some quaggan style riding
hell yeah! You are absolutely right, sounds for Necros and Ele are awful… like wshoooo
they should really make a change to this
Guys! You got me wrong! I mean only for Prestige like vadeam.4927 said. Mount will be only for showing yourself, like the legendaries. They will not give any speed buff only the look ( and if I am right… there is already one in the game! The flying Broom! ) So things like that, that you could use to look good while traveling.
Like Norn engeneers will not have the same animation like Asuran? If so, I like this Idea! Is very weird vhen Asura shoots flame turret and in fact he/she has the same technology as Charr or even Flowers (
) . And one more good addition would be if players can choose if they want to use Necromancers animation for staff… Becouse for some stakitten , that animation ruins the feeling ( like The Crossing or The Bifrost ) becouse they dont look so good then.
Hi
My suggestion is: what about some mounts… I know that everybody would say " Guild Wars 2 do not need them" ect. but… I mean mounts NOT TO MOVE FASTER BUT TO LOOK BETTER like riding on a Dolyak ( btw. have anyone noticed that centaurs are Human-horses? Becouse I havent seen horses in GW2 but only centaurs
) And for the minis, minis should really use some special window and whats my priority is to not be collectibles. For me it is really anyoning to be on world completition and my bag is full ( everybody does ) so I would like to press deposit collectibles without getting my mini Guard send into bank. So I must go and material by material press deposit collectible. What do you guys think?
