Let me shortly introduce myself. I am Sir Cuddles The Fluffy, warrior for the Velocity corporation and lead Omega deployer/builder/manager/collector and user. I go by many other names, to name a few: Cuddles The Golemancer, Omega-Wan Build-Obi, Omega Overlord and many more

As celebration of a highly successful year for our corporation, we decided NOT to invest more into our space program. But instead decided to end this WvW season in style. As such, we have many of our commanders doing open mic. And we had a large amount of spare gold left, so we decided to spend it on Omegas. Yup, you read that right, the amount we normally spend on our spacecrafts, we spend this year on building a giant ROBOT ARMY. But that is not all! The amazing Aurora Glade community decided to chip in, they made us expend our plans to unseen proportions.

We now own a robot army of sizes surpassing my wildest dreams. So if you happen to spot an Omega golem this match up and oh oh oh oh I am sure you will! You can be 90%+ sure it is one of my babies, so feel free to wave as they pass by.

This week is the Omega week! Doesn’t matter if you wipe them, we sure as hell will be back. Our supplies are close to limitless.

Have a happy end of the First WvW Season. Sorry for nightcapping you, but we just want to have fun!

That is true, as for whining about it just stating facts of our server… maybe I have a less biased opinion than some people who always says enemy servers always blob but not their own.

When your allies constantly add into your fights, to spoil them and make them unchallenging and uncompetitive, that is worse… and its a case of swings and roundabouts at times in WvW… but we never fully endorse that style of play… some will get paybacked no worries about that… but to rob yourself of fun/challenge/victory by easymoding in zerg is tedious as hell(if easymoders laugh doesn’t bother me im laughing too out of pity)… If ya want that playstyle just x fer to a tier 1 server… make a well necro follow blue dot and tag everything… pretty straight forward for playing WvW as it was “designed”

Ps. Im allergic to handholding unless its with Turx… then its okay but only on weekends

The problem was that Gunnar’s Hold and Miller’s Sound guilds were obviously comfortable playing with and without each other and seemed to have a degree of respect and ability to co-operate between them, ours seemed to have really no idea of how to coordinate their actions.

I’m just used to better stuff from us but I excuse our guilds due to the boring week previous to this match-up which made people want to just fight all over the place. Unfortunately this made my gameplay feel useless since all the scouting fell on deaf ears. At the end of the night Miller’s had waypoints in AG BL Hills and GH BL Bay and so their discpilined gameplay definitely paid off.

Really there should be less criticism for how people want to play, whether it’s for PPT, for the fights or whatever. I’m not above cracking a few jokes about players building arrow carts, escorting dolyaks, but at the end of the day it’s their own business how they play the game.

As an example, I was fighting a competitive duel with a guy from TEO guild, and while on the verge of victory got hit by around 30 TEO players from behind and a few laugh taunts on top. Now I could whine about not getting a “fair fight” but on the other hand you’re supposed to help your guild mates out when they are in trouble, so who am I to criticize?

Maybe some of those players thought you needed a helping hand and didn’t realize you wanted to fight on your own. You just need to make that clear with other players in a civilized manner, instead of calling them names.

If you get hit by 30 of our players that means that you attack someone while we are raiding. If we are raiding it means the person you where ’’dueling’’ whit probably said he was being ganked at the back and than we turn back to suport him. About the taunts i can’t really say that i dont know why ppl did that but i will tell my ppl to not do that anymore.

The amount of handholding between FSP guilds is ridiculous lol.

Or maybe PunK like to follow the other guilds because they can’t handle on their own..

And this comes from a server where the guilds like teo, inc, ht, chvc and randoms with 8 golems (maybe there were even more) failed hard taking garrison. Maybe you have to hold each others hand just harder next time.

But yea the handholding from FSP also didnt realy work out to good did it at GH garri? ^^
But still TEO is still running whit like 15 ppl so we are kind of forced to run together against your guildgroups/ pug zergs because we dont have enough ppl on our on.

I whould like to thank XI for the nice gvg we had today
We had a lot of fun doing it whit you guys.

The fact is that a gvg guild is only good for a server where they are on:

1: There are less ppl needed to be in a border to whipe a blob.
2: Because you only need a good guildgroup to whipe a blob there is more space for your that only play wvw about points.
3: The complains about ques are just stupid because a gvg takes max 2 hours and after a gvg the guild will go back to ’’normal’’ wvw raiding to help the server get points and defend stuff when needed.

and Xsorus the video that you linked is from rg you probably know that. You say that you dont see if they are good ’’pvp’’ players but those guys whipe every blob that they see whit only around 20-30 ppl all of them are very skilled. And those ppl that play wvw for the points and run mindless behind a commander are the worst pvp players around because there is realy no skill in spamming 1.

And to all the other ppl that think that gvg is just a game of who can spam there autoattack the best should just make a group of like 50 ppl and fight a 25 man raid group of guilds like [scnd] or [VII] than you can see that you will get killed and that there is more skill in gvg than you think there is.
