Used to be when I went in pvp, I could do a proper solo queue – no pugs vs full 5-man premades.
The 4v5 rate used to be much lower, too.

1. 6/10 matches are 4v5. Guy might log out if he doesn’t get the treb, doesn’t like the map, doesnt like a player, etc. I don’t know, I just know that the game needs to start replacing dropouts or jailing someone on the larger team at a rapid pace to fix this so you aren’t out of luck from the start.

2. The pugs vs premades (even if it’s just small groups of 2s/3s as the “premade” team) is just sad. We need a solo queue and a team queue. You’re forgetting that at least half your population is probably soloers that don’t really party or deal with people like Kirito in SAO (@staff: not calling outa player in game, referring to character in the anime/novel), and this shafts them hard where pvp is concerned when they’re facing even partial teams on VOIP.

The reason our former solo queue was never used was because it gave lower rewards – so you took it out. Despite that, I still preferred it since the win rate was higher than facing premades in team queue.

It’s perfectly acceptable for a team queue to accept parties of 2 through 5 and pit them against other teams, but solo queuers deserve nothing but other solo queuers!!! There is 0 teamwork in solo PUGs. At least if you mix and match some mini-teams, some of them may be working together resulting in more functional teams, while the solo queuers can have their solo queue.

Not really. Account sharing is always looked down upon in mmos for obvious reasons (rmts, power leveling, etc) but most (including ncsoft) will still support a person who admits to sharing – to some degree.
Officially, you may assumed to be an account seller and permbanned, or your support warranty may be void.
L2 had a policy against it, and yet they banned someone who stole from someone’s account they were openly sharing and literally everyone knew about – and returned his stuff anyways.

And anet is going to eat those words one day, mark my words, because all the NA/EU servers are using the combined account pool and at least a third of those accounts have probably not logged in two years. I wish I had their data so I could provide inactivity charts.

They weren’t thinking clearly. The mmos that wiped names did so even despite working with a fraction of the account pool per-server, it still needed to be done. It needs to be done here even more (if we go on the amount of servers: 20 times more or more), and the time bomb is ticking.

Flawed logic: There is a low character limit on names and there are only a few alt codes that work.
Other language font names do not work or display in the game. Names are limited and it’s reaching the point where even name generators are failing.

Nobody would take your name unless you are never logging in for years straight and fail to act upon an advance notice that you are inactive.

I would concede defeat if they implement unicode and allow other language names plus symbols. We know that ain’t gonna happen, either, LOL

Death also happens, and it makes no sense to let 1,000 dead people sit on 8,000 names. (or more)

Even if you took a break nothing is stopping you from logging in once, at all.

2 years without logging in at all and then after a 1 month notice that you need to log in, and then still not logging in, is not a “break”.

You would have no excuse in that scenario and I’m not even sure why/how you think you can defend that. Everyone in my skype room agrees with me.

Maybe they should start allowing Chinese, cyrilic, japanese fonts for speech and names then by your logic.

It is not difficult to log in once every year or two to keep your names.

Speding real money for in game items from other players is RMT and against the TOS. So the type of people defending this rule advocate violating the TOS. Nice.

You won’t be saying that in 5 years when even FULLY accented names are gone and a higher percentage of the “inactives” are “dead irl”.

It was an unreasonable promise to make, and keeping names cycling is a good thing. Your account, skins etc are still there. If you wish to keep your name the least you can do is log in once per year to show you aren’t dead.

Many new players will see name creation takes 6+ hours and not even bother to play – possibly even demand refunds.

I have taken seveal accounts worth of names on mmos I have zero intention of playing.

You can’t beat logic, letting dead accounts keep names is pandering to the wrong crowd entirely and makes no sense.

There is little excuse after a year, no excuse after two years of inactivity.
Also, we can’t diversify names much, even accented names are taken.

You’re also forgeting that names are shared by ALL SERVERS including EU, WHICH IS INCREDIBLY BAD. Most mmos, that wipe names, do NOT share names across a population this large… and still wipe names.

Toxicity only uses 3-6 letter names that are not accented.

238Q has better technology (ips), 24GM77 has cheap technology (TN)

238Q for image quality, 24gm77 for speed (FPS games mainly). moba games and rpgs do not require speed.

Did the OP get deleted? I feel like I’m missing something. New skins are 1 ticket, no BLTC skins are ever lower than 1 ticket.

Patch notes have them return to 5 tickets, which I believe other cities list them at apart from LA

Releasing this ugly new skin set after only 2 weeks so people can’t farm/buy a full set of Scientific is the bug.

They are at The Vault in La for 1 ticket, trust me.

Prices are high atm cause they don’t realize it’s still 1 ticket in LA. I want it down.
