Thank you Gaile for the info on the upcoming balance ^-^
Huge improvement, thank you!
Let the salt flow from the Coliseum crowd
Down with NA daycapping and how dare EU play when I’m asleep.
- Population Balance
- Revert Stability/Skill Balance – (Reverting stab has a huge asterix next to it, please, please, please take caution. Old stability used to be susceptible to immobilise, thus hammer trains, however this was also before the introduction of resistance. Resistance/boon/damage reduction stacking still exists in WvW, even after nerfs to bunker Mesmer and Rev in Pvp. On a large scale these comps are.. aids, but are weakened by the current implementation of stab; prone to lots of hard CC. Stab would need to go up in corruption priority)
Needs to be assessed: Signet of Inspiration/Dwarf Stance/Frost Aura/Superior Sigil of Concentration/Plate of Mussels Gnashblade, this list goes on…
Needs to be changed: A visible aoe circle for Hunter’s Ward. - Scoring
- (Defensive) Siege Reworks – (Reduce Arrow Cart damage by ~15%. Revert the arc of Omega projectiles back to being able to hit siege placed on the inner edges of walls. Increase Shield Gen cooldowns, Force Dome needs to be 10-15 seconds longer. Can take up to 5 minutes to kill an SMC lord with Iron Guard active, but less than 10 seconds to revive it)
- Rewards – (Something akin to the PvP rewards tracks would be nice. Also that WvW Legendary Backpiece.)
-1. Reverting back to Alpine: number one herpa kitten band aid fix for WvW. Rework the new Desert BL instead.

Didn’t receive 100% map completion rewards for Verdant Brink or Auric Basin.
Vol. 1 for Astralaria, Hope, Nevermore are missing from Grandmaster Craftsman Hobbs, even with Legendary Crafting maxed out. Vol. 2 – 4 are there.
Funtedmace, add me as a LATE +1 >:)
Don’t necessarily think an OCX/SEA “fights tier” is a good idea, especially recruitment wise, but open to hear what you put forward.
Also EOTM scrimming gets annoying, fast.. (kitten interruptions: the cannons and certain EOTM commanders..), but what else can you do.
You can only fight the same map queue everyday for so long. If we were at all interested in zergbusting we would have transferred to T1 along time ago.
Miss you T2 off-hours.
Adv – Magnus’ ability to rally pugs and love for the yolo JI’ing
RP – Pretty epic long SMC fights, 5eva tapping the waypoint of whoever owned SMC
XIII – Obviously still around but much smaller. Particularly those scheduled golem rushes, when you’d literally all be in golems. Can still recall a time when we were still on DB, called in to deal with your golems at our bay whilst DK snuck in and flipped our garri behind us
GAN – Our perfect raid counterparts. RIP SoS’ most recent SEA
CST – For giving us the opportunity to kill Eph in OS, on more than one occasion (Nice to see you guys raiding again)
DAWN – Was actually willing to give scrimming us a try, even if Johny would request it be at windmill..
FN – Small man fights, forever being annoying and poking our BL towers/keeps
II – Sniping an old server mate and ex-guildies as they tried to draw out pugs to fight >:)
Ra/NEWS/Me – Good fights when they still ran separately before merging into the Ra omniblob, and then just before they left for T1
Rx – For a short while there you’d have someone tag up during prime time OCX, I can only assume that force eventually got absorbed by TF
Also sadface Rs/Ts/AKD/Sern
This list saddens me
Tman.6349 brought this up on a thread on the Black Lion Trading Co Forums and I’d completely forgotten about it but once upon a time people were able to transmute Cultural gear onto whites and wear them on other races. Anet threw a hissy fit and rolled things back.
Boy things have changed.
A rollback may not be completely out of the picture here. Maybe…. hopefully.. But then again gems are involved this time….
I don’t actually mind them recycling (lesser) skins this way, by adding particle effects and so on, but for one of the sets to be a Cultural armor, and T3 at that, is ludicrous. From the looks of things someone over there has royally screwed up with their armor selections.
Ps. if this isn’t fixed, STAY AWAY from my Norn Medium T3. Human scum. Go roll a short norn and pretend to be human if you really want it that badly /flips table
Similarly to a lot of people following the January legendary visual-effects update, I got caught up in wanting some of the new polish. In my case the legendary spear, Kamohoali’i Kotaki.
Most people interested in the spear’s changes would probably have seen, “Guild Wars 2 – Legendary Spear Kamohoali’i Kotaki visual-effects polish”(warr) And then more recently, a thief version.
As someone who on the most part plays a ranger, who actually likes underwater combat (well, at least in this class) and was seduced into making the spear, I’ve got to say the critical hit shark effect comes across as pretty awesome on a warrior and yet pretty tame on other professions.
From what I can tell, most warrior spear skills (#1,2,4 and 5) use the shark bite visual on crits (and also the new mini shark on #3). As a ranger I’ve only ever noticed the critical effect on skill #3 and mini on #4. Thief: crit on #1 and 3, with mini on #4. Mesmer: crit on #2(?, I’m not all that familiar with the mes’ version). And as I’m yet to read or see any necromancers or guardians having made the weapon, I can’t comment on them.
I accept that not every class should have the same legendary animations; however when the effect is reliant on something such as critically hitting a foe you’d think the visual would be more universal across all professions and not so simply evident in just one.
Kamohoali’i Kotaki remains one of my favourite legandaries and I wouldn’t take back the time or gold I spent making it (the moment I saw that mini shark, I was hooked) I just hope that sometime in the near future I don’t find myself contemplating why I didn’t/don’t just use it in my warrior instead.
From an NA server, I primarily play a ranger however in this case, for path 4, mainly my warrior.
I’ve fallen short a couple of times with guildies that were happy enough to try and re-run it with me, but when you’re one of the only people left with a melee DPS class in the guild, it makes it all a bit trickier.
So, here I am also, putting my hand up for help and people to finally complete path 4 with.
