Story Traits not unlocking when in party

My friend and I did all story missions together until level 55. We noticed that he had not unlocked the traits, although I had. I was party leader, and we both had the same story line (he accepted progress when completing story mission).

The story missions in question are: “The Battle of Claw Island” (lvl 50) and “A Light in the Darkness” (lvl 55). There might be problems with all of them, but we quit doing story missions after we discovered the bug.

He sent in a ticket explaining the situation, listing his account name, character name and story missions (and even the traits in question if I’m not mistaken). The only reply he received before they closed his ticket was that some traits might not be unlocked until level 30. They closed the ticket after that. He also replied to this thread (and linked it in his ticket), but still nothing.

At the time we did the story missions both of us were far above level 30, and even above level 55, which was the highest lvl requirement for the story.

The problem is easily solved – he could simply buy the traits for gold. However, this should also be easily solved by GW2 support. If support had simply checked his character level (or his reply to the ticket, where he informed them of it), this issue would have been solved (at least on a case-by-case basis).

I understand that you might not be able to fix this right away, but closing the ticket without acknowledging the issue provokes me greatly. The reason I am writing this and not my friend is because he has essentially stopped playing the game after this.

He dropped the hammer repeatedly for no reason (didn’t step into him or attacked him while immune).

I also noticed that we can no longer use stability while activating hammer on seals. All my skills disappear, and I am dazed for a few seconds without the ability to do anything.

Guild Name: Nobles of the Phantom [NotP]
Server: Piken Square

I logged in this morning to discover that my guild has been destroyed. Everything has been deleted except the guild’s name. I’m now the only guild member and I can’t do anything in the guild panel.
Please help/fix this!

I have the exact same problem. It seems protious have it too.

Same problem with all my 4 guilds (on various servers).

Crucible of Eternity
7
Pros: interesting bosses, versatile dungeon overall
Cons: alpha can get repetitive

Fractals of the Mists
8
Pros: Very versatile, fun bosses and scaling makes it a personal challenge.
Cons: Bad loot relative to difficulty (higher scales), and dredge fractal takes so long time that it is annoying.

FotM is my favourite dungeon hands down, but I am so tired of not getting rewards for the higher lvls.

No. Ascended gear + Fractal unique skins vs guanteed bad drops in dungeons too, just alot more silver.

No one makes you farm fotm for gold. It would be OP if they dropped silver. EVERYTHING, Skins, money, exotics, ascended gear, lets throw precursors chance upped too while were at this wish list for all your farm needs in 1

Harder content should reward better rewards. The risk vs reward for FotM at high levels is impossibly bad, and needs to be improved no matter how you cut it. I agree that low levels shouldn’t get the boost, but as you go up tiers, the rewards really should improve significantly from what they are.

I agree with Rising Dusk. I wouldn’t even exclude the lower levels from better rewards, as lower fotm requires the same level of skill as normal dungeons do.
Ascended gear doesn’t really factor in the equation, as you can get all ascended gear without setting a single foot in fractals . In fact, you can’t even get more than 3 pieces of ascended gear doing fractals.

Cheers.

As it is now, there is no sense in doing higher level fractals. If the reward is not scaled parallell to the difficulty of the dungeon, why bother doing higher levels? People keep away from 40+, and even 30+, because there is no sense in doing those levels. If we can do 2 runs on 28, why bother doing 40+ if we don’t get a better/higher chance of reward for it?
