i thought of a way to improve the mystic forge by adding “undo” or “revert” recipe
i made by mistake too many minis that worth 75g each to make, which are now useless to me because they are account bound and are of no value to my account.

i thought maybe if there was some kind of a way to undo them and get my mats back, or maybe part of the mats back i could get some of my gold invested back to me.

maybe something like [Item X (item that was forged in the mystic forge)] + [Pile of crystalline dust (or any similar item)] +
[Obsidian Shard (or any simlar item)] + [Essence of Regret (new gemstore item similar to mystic forge stones)] to get break down [Item X] to its components..

i dont know, im sure there are ways to make such thing work, and it could revolutionize the crafting in GuildWars2 and make it more flexible.

by mistake i had my math wrong, and i made x3 the needed amount for “Old Tom”

i spent 442g more than i should have, now the question, can i revert the minis to the materials? or is there any way to undo my mistake?
somehow sell the minis? somehow exchange in some npc? help anyone!
i have 6 extra account bound Baron von Scrufflebutts minis worth about 75 gold each!!
can i get my gold back in some way?

So I found out that there is new (at least new for me) activity, called Basket Brawl.
Its some kind of basketball with the Keg Brawl play mechanics.
Its a lot of fun and I’ve seen that there arn’t any achivments for that activity, unlike the others (keg brawl, southshore survival, ect.)

Will there ever be achivments for that activity?

any idea on when do you think server will be back again?

So I’ve got a mail few minutes ago, and i was wondering, at first i thought this could be legit, then I’ve noticed that the Anet gm icon was missing and the “ArenaNet” was actually the subject, and the name was HOHOH
then I’ve seen the note on the lower part of the mail that warned me that this wasn’t Anet and this was a player..

now im thinking to myself that this could be a giveaway of any sort….
but I’m not sure, I’m very sceptic acout that… this could be an attempt to steal my account or something.

what do you think?

Why not? I mean, Norn have scandinavian names. Also the Dredges have a communistic government system like the old Sovjet Union.

drege are slaves, who are ugly and weak, who seek for power but fail all the time, and they are easy enslaved, the inquest take them over.

kinds OP, but i think the idea of a rune that increases the walking speed in town would be nice, or any thing like this, for use of mobility in-town, so no one would abuse this to move faster out side of town, remember you can swap to town clothes outside as well..

i have a question, why do dredge have russian like names..?

or “Vladok” (nickname for Vlad)

i am really confused, like was it a joke from anet? or what was the idea behind the names, cause i can clearly say russians are playing GW2 and it can hurt someones feelings.

I’ve opened a new guild, Apes With Sticks[Apes] (the name is awesome!!), and I want it to be dedicated for WvW.
since you can join more than only 1 guild in GuildWars2, I welcome you to join my guild for WvW events.

how does it work?,
you join the guild, and whenever you feel like going to WvW, for fun, or for any other reason, you look in the daily message, I will be posting dates for the upcomming WvW events of the guild (the guild will be active only on those dates, as long as it relys on me). you press on “represent” and join right into the fights of our guild in WvW.
when you’re done, feel free to “Stand Down” and return to your main guild.
the guild will be active once-twice a week for WvW events.
I will be active on the guild only in WvW events dates, any other wish depends on you really.
I dont care if people just represent the guild and will do more events without me, I will be happy if that happens, and more than that i will be happy to make some officers for that, that will be a success for the guild.
but as for start I will run events one a week, and see where it’s going.

why do i do that?
‘cause I like more than just WvW, I like questing and exploring and do other stuff, so I won’t be able to be in a guild that does only WvW, and since I already have a good guild I like, I won’t leave it.
so this guild is perfect for people like me, and maybe for you.

if you’re one of those people who would like to run WvW sometimes but won’t leave your guild for that, this is for you!

sentinel is made for full tanks, soldier is a tanky dps.

im trying to complete finally the personal story to get the achivments from it.

and ive came over a bug in the “Ships of the Line” quest.
ive heard that this was fixed but ive seen that this is bugged for me.
im trying to revive Elli in the water, but Zott wont follow me into the green circle on the map.
making the rescue of the crew impossible.

ive tried swimming around to trigger the script, but none has been accomplished.

does anyone know anything that might work?, or is this the end of the personal story for me?..

Update:
ive managed to advance farther, reviving Elli and returning to the ship.
all i did it restarting the whole mission again, relogging in order to get out of the bugged mission and starting it all over again.
worked perfectly the 2nd time.

guys who is interested in the same question. no this trait doesnt stack.
it says “… effects do not stack; instead, the highest value effect takes precedence, e.g. a character under the effect of Signet of Air (25%) and swiftness (33%) will move 33% faster.”

I really wanna know if this trait Zephyr’s Speed (5th point in air magic) stacks with the Signet of Air skill, or any other movment speed effects like swiftness, ect.
Just so I’ll know if this is a used trait or just there cause I have no other choice.

I also have been had issues like that too since the last patch, that coincidently came out when I replaced my graphic card. My systems is like yours, only graphic card is different, it’s a GeForce GTX 650. But occasionally I have texture issues, like not loading at times, windows without a background, no ground or buildings around… I’m still trying to figure out what’s wrong and tweaking my settings to see if I can solve or lessen it.

yeah, its the same problem.
i tried low settings and it won’t solve the issue, since then I’ve knew something is wrong here, and then i posted this.
it could be a bug or a bad patch to the game, i hope anet will solve this.
I assume that way since more people experience this.

It’s something relatively new that many of us experience. There have been many threads/posts about it, and a Dev response, if I am not mistaken. I think the Devs will address it as soon as possible.

well I’ve been playing gw2 for year and more now and I’ve been struggeling with a texture loading problem, I’ve upgraded my graphics card to “AMD Radeon R9 270x Gigabyte”
and expected this problem to be solved out, but none, the graphics are awesome now, but i have this fps rate drops sometimes and the texture loading way too slow, it sometimes gets me to just wait few minutes after logging in or switching chars to see the texture again. (I can move and all but I see no one and there is no floor/buildings/minimap/skill bars/items in my bag/icons / ect.)

i have no idea what could be causing this problem.
help me someone who maybe know this problem.

*Windows 7 32bit SP1
*Pentium Dual-Core CPU E6300 (2.80GHz)
*Memory: 4GB Ram
*HardDisc: 1TB [200gb free on (D:) where gw2 is installed]
*Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 270x Gigabyte (2gb ram)
*Internet connection speed test (while gw2 is running):
downloading 41.14 Mb/s | uploading 3122 Kb/s

where the problem could be?
