Recently my mouse has been messing up, enough to make this game nearly unplayable in certain circumstances. I have a Razer Lachesis and when I’m holding down my right click, it will at times “unclick” making my cursor reappear and run across the screen. This is especially annoying when I’m trying to run by holding down my left and right click.
I’ve noticed this issue since the June 17th patch. No hardware changes have been made to my computer at all. Doing a quick google search it seems this has been a long standing issue with Razer mice

I’ve tried the solutions presented in those topics to no avail. I’ve tried things like cleaning the mouse, using a different USB port, redownloading the Razer software, setting it up in compatibility mode, and still nothing.
This has made the game nearly unplayable for me. I’ve sunk a ton of time into this game and it only started happening around the June patch. I’d really like to see this addressed as it has gotten me killed in EOTM, made JPs hair pullingly bad, and just made my experience much less enjoyable.
Thanks,

Titles already had value, and you still see them when targeting someone. The way they are now is completely useless and just annoying.
I agree, and Obsidian shards while we’re at it. I have about 100 of those kitten things from Jewellery boxes that I will NEVER use.
It’s completely frivolous and distracting, there’s no reason I need to see people’s titles. All it does is make people’s names harder to see in swarms of people. I’m partially colorblind and it’s really just an eyesore. At the very least, make it the same color as the party/guild/player text, and at the most just allow us to remove it outright.
Hmm maybe you didn’t understand my original post then – my reading comprehension is top notch I just wanted to make sure you did in fact read it correctly. No need to get snippy because of semantics :P
If that happens to you a lot perhaps the problem isn’t everyone else, rather you :P
IMO they should just make this game free to play
you get 1 character slot and take a higher cut when trying to sell stuff on the TP(to weed out botters). You can of course upgrade to a normal version through the gem store.
Ummmm this game is free to play unless you mean free to play as in they give you the box for free and then that would be just silly. The $60 I spent on the game has paid for it self 100 times over IMO and making the Box free would only encourage botters as there would be no downside to getting banned.
You paid for the game, thus it is not free to play.
Also, read what I’ve suggested in terms of discouraging botters.
I think everyone will agree that GW2 desperately needs an ingame LFG system. As for event notifications.. well… you do have guild and map chats. I’m not exactly opposed to the idea however. Personally I’d like to be able to joikittenone’s mapchat whether or not i’m in it.

Bump. I really want to see this put in place.
I agree this would be a neat idea, kinda like Lord of Destruction did it(Paladin Aegis, Barb Helms etc) and some classes could use some more unique gear… Engineer for example. Not a lot of gear out there feels Engineer-ish.
And people are supposed to know this how? Seems like a pretty nonsensical and abstract to assume all the contract items give you an account bound item – even moreso to assume that this is common knowledge lol.
Now the contract doesn’t have “Express” in the title nor does it state what you get which is very very dumb for a premium item that players like myself will look to achieve.
The same way people know how express items work. They do minimum amount of research.
There are 4 different item “contracts” in the game all over 100g – to assume everyone knows what “contract” means in GW2 terms is absolutely asinine. With Express items the information is presented in the subtext – with the Contracts there’s nothing.
Not everyone needs to know. However, when you are going to spend gold worth over 100$ real life cash on a single item, it should be safe to assume you know what you are doing, or atleast research a bit before purchase. (Or that you are some sort of millionaire who doesn’t care if the race horse he just bought is actually alive or not.)
7300 gems are needed to get 100g at the moment.
Naturally, irl cash is used here only as a reference to understand the price of the item we are talking about.
Think you’re missing this post

Though really, are you arguing against more clarity? What I’m suggesting is a very very simple change to the name of the item(which is named incorrectly) and a description.

Although I don’t really think its that misleading. Contracts give you account bound items. They don’t alter your interface. And the word “Contract” is there.
… what?
Take my example of the Trading post pickup item – Does the wording not make more sense that you’d be able to just nab items from the trading post UI without having to use a permanent consumable and then a trader?
These are premium goods. Quality of life improvements. It would actually make sense that they don’t act the same way as most other items in the game. People will get the impression that the permanent contract items will do more than what the consumable versions do because they’re not properly labelled as permanent versions of the consumables.
Question:
What exactly did you expect to get? A new interface button for your bank?
Something like that – or even multiple versions of the item received in the mail for my characters.
You can still use it on all of your alts. They just need to visit a bank or crafting station one time at the beginning of play. To store just open the bank with it, then bank it right?
It permits a single character to never visit the bank again. That’s not powerful enough for you?
No. It’s not what I wanted, and not what the item is called. I bought it specifically so I could coordinate loot and gold through all my characters.
If you are taking what I am saying as condescending, I am sorry, but I am just trying to state my opinion on things. I have a number of friends with the hair/bank/merch item, none of them were ever disappointed, and knew exactly what they were receiving. And account bound simply means that the item can be used on your account exclusively. Most GW2 players know that as common knowledge. Guess it is just a matter of opinion in the end, I think the description is fine, as it is the same as all other items.
The problem is in how they’re worded
for example
Permanent Black Lion Merchant Express(a permanent version of the Black Lion Merchant Express item) – totally get it. Makes sense.
Permanent Trading Post Pickup – Actually works the same way as the Bank Access and just as vague. It doesn’t state that it’s a permanent consumable for one of your characters that summons a personal merchant. Looking at this one it would make sense that you’d just be able to grab whatever items/money you’ve gotten from the trading post from your Trading Post UI(the way I figured the bank would work). It should be called “Permanent Black Lion Trader Express” and not “Permanent Trading Post Pickup”
It is common knowledge that Account bound means it can only be used on your characters – nobody’s arguing that – we’re arguing the wording that is used for these items doesn’t state what you’re actually getting.
At the very least – ArenaNet needs to make this more coherent. It’s not like it’ll take a whole bunch of effort. At the very best they should make it work like the way it sounds but that’s more wishful thinking on my part.
I am all for more information, it certainly can not hurt. I am just saying, even a simple gw2 wiki search or gw2db like you said, would have shown you it is a double click inventory item. So I am curious what research you did?
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Permanent_Bank_Access_Contract
useless information – doesnt mention the word express, even says character(s)
http://www.gw2db.com/items/70579-permanent-bank-access-contract
Only information here is what it “contains” but even that is pretty useless as it doesn’t state that you only get one of them.
You don’t need to be so condescending – The wording of the item is confusing. It’s “account bound” and doesn’t refer to you getting 1x of the permanent bank express items. I’ve talked to many other people who were under the same impression that it was across all your characters.
To be honest, that is how every other item works in the game. Why would Permanent Bank Access be different? I am sorry things didn’t work out the way you had thought, but I would recommend researching some before buying a 200g+ item.
I’ve never bought “any other item in the game” and I did do research, only now to see that the only thing that would’ve tipped me off is under what you get when you open it on gw2db.
I really hope you aren’t arguing against a simple description being added to these premium items. Or even “Express” put in the title somewhere.
Greetings, I recently purchased a Permanent Bank Access Contract – the way I thought it would work is that all my characters would be able to access my bank at any time, something amazing for an altoholic like myself. How it ACTUALLY works is you bind the contract to your account and you get 1x Permanent Bank Accesss Express item. Now the contract doesn’t have “Express” in the title nor does it state what you get which is very very dumb for a premium item that players like myself will look to achieve.
I’m not necessarily asking that it’s changed(though believe me I reaallly wish it worked the way I thought it did) but even a better description of what you’re getting would have saved me 200~g. As it stands right now I’m kinda disillusioned after buying this and have no real urge to play at all – I doubt anet wants to isolate and confuse their players like this.
So please at the very least add a description of what you’re getting! Or at best make it account wide(or give an ability to duplicate the perm bank access express)
Thanks for reading.
Seems like a lot of people really have nothing to do once hitting 80 and getting geared. Sure you can grind out your fotm backpiece or try to get ascended rings from fotm/dailies but that’s hardly interesting to most people. Some people like to create alternate sets of armor for their favorite character, however they’re totally limited by bag space.
Dual/Multi Speccing, if implemented correctly, would allow players to continually improve their favorite character even after they’ve finished their “best” set.
The way I would implement it is:
-First dual spec slot you buy costs 10g, while all the others cost 1000 gems
-You cannot be naked in an offspec. Your default equipment is the gear in your first spec
-you can store different armor sets with each spec, so you save on bag room.
-specs can be changed when you’re out of combat from the hero screen.
-If you have multiple specs and want to change a piece of your armor, you can right click the desired item slot and get access to all the same slot items in your different specs
This allows a player to be as stylish as they want and really feel the full extent of their class, if they want to.
