I have been taking keeps/towers since day one, every day and I have never seen any other server than VZ to do this. It is obviously not intended, anyone with a brain can see that. Then again zomhacks are an exploit and that has never stopped you from using them consistently.

Tonight we dine with zombies

The following list is a series of strategies that can be used against the undead:

Stationary Tactics : Any strategy where you destroy the undead from a fixed position
The Lure : Use of meat (animal, perhaps even human) as bait or something to make sound if you like animals too much.
The Fortress : More of a defensive strategy, the idea of the Fortress is basically barricade yourself in a highly defensible structure.
The Sniper : Have your snipers on a rooftop and lure the undeads within affective range.
The Bottleneck : Uses barriers to funnel the undead into a position where eliminating them would be simple
Reinforced Square : The soldiers form a tight square formation, surrounding the generals, supplies, medics, and suppliers.
The Cliff : When facing a large number of zombies trapped in upper floors or the roof of a building, send a dog up on the roof of a nearby, cleared, building, and have it start barking.
The Pit of Fire: You dig a very deep hole or trench, fill it with flammable liquids, then lure the undead in for the barbecue.
Land Mines : Land mines are a poor idea. While they are shown blowing humans up completely, chances are they’ll only blow off an undead leg.
Net Sweep Fishing : Use a boat with a net attached to it crosses over a body of water. When the net is lifted out of the water, the zombies are trapped inside and are unable to move.
Pressure Suit : Like dive fishing but you are in a pressure suit which makes it almost impossible for the zombies to bite you. Almost like being in a very thick suite of armor under water.

Lack of PvP players. Smaller guilds and PvE focused players are bored of running into numerous mindless SFR zergs, and a few guilds have transferred.

Free transfers gut servers. You can see by how much the WvW landscape has changed; it’s an ever changing migration of players. Take Blacktide as an example; Shiverpeaks gutted so that BT can be top dawgs. GG Anet.

In fact, good luck in T1 Seafarer’s, you’re perfectly built for the Zerg Vs Zerg monotony of T1.

I seem to recall it was “numerous mindless zergs” that got deso into T1 – or is this merely sour grapes pvp 101 (when losing blame the other side of mindless zerging).

Simple version – without the huge numbers (and SFRs ‘zergs’ aka multuiple 20-30 man groups hitting different points on the map are nothing to the enormous blobs that deso used to run) deso are what they’ve always been – a mid tier nothing special server.

You should check tagnuts post history. He is one of these winning server hoppers as you can see from his “I just moved to desolation and french are…”. Its pretty hilarious combined to his free transfer rant.

People like tagnut are what amaze me, the sheer ignorance. SFR is not special, nor is blacktide, or BB, or deso, or any of them. The tier system does not reflect skill, it does not reflect what guild is good and what is not. It is all about coverage.

SFR will not loose in tier1 because you are bad, you will loose because you lack coverage. The same reason deso and bb loose to you. Maybe you will understand this after next week.

bb is in a unique position as its strongest(dare I say only?) presence is when both deso and sfr have gap in their coverage while deso and sfr coverage overlap. Since sfr always outmans deso, this automatically leads to position where bb wins over deso pointwise.
Think how the score would look if this matchup was between deso and 2 bb servers? Dead horse to beat but winning point-wise is all about coverages between the servers nothing more, nothing less.

Blactide has won, VZ second, Deso surrenders. Now we have to spend 1 week in this boredom. IRON will not play this week.
