Anet devs you really know what the reward system was about. You implemented it, even if it was… well… badly implemented.

So simply just reply us with the proper information about the drops we will be getting. Or else you will have a failed event on your hands. People wont do stuff on a promise, just does not work that way.

As you are probably aware events dont even rewards karma, gold or experience, so what’s there to do?

After 6 hours of gameplay (mostly afk, but still), 36 character logins/outs, and about 40 wp used I’ve not experienced any disconnections, errors or any other oddities.

I’m using google dns, playing from Uruguay.

Edit: haven’t tried dungeons or fractals, will do tonight if I dont get any disconnect, will report again after.

Think that it was fixed for my wife aswell, will test it myself tonight, if after 2 hours I do not get a locking screen will repost here. Since the issue started I havent been able to play more than 30 minutes (while changing zones) without getting kicked out.

Will Anet ever make Non-DPS role important?

I just read this, and my only thoughts are:

1). I used to love gw2 community, now its just feels wrong. Way too much toxicity.

2). Don’t even give a kitten about what others think. If you enjoy your character, play it the way you want it. The material rewards only go so far, and their value will be zero if you quit playing cause the style does not fit you.

3). Dont bother playing with players that do not understand how you want to play. Will only cause trouble to you or to others. Stay away from pug runs with ‘zerk’ on the tag.

4). for farming events, I used to make about 60g per day at CS with a full soldiers set, got a precursor, and a bunch of other niceties.

Bottom line, the only thing that matters is having fun, if you are failing at that.. move away and search for another source of entertainment (I know I did).

Dragon’s Reach Part 2 starts tomorrow. I seriously hope I’ll be able to play GW2 before the free period expires, or I will not be a happy customer.

Yeap, it took only a week of being unable to play for an admin to give us a placebo answer. Kudos.

Will be much easier to not get kicked from dungeon runs with pugs when I get locked outside the instance, and have to explain them to wait till my modem resets…

sigh Since there is little public acknowledgement on behalf of Anet/NCsoft (whichever) it looks like it’s not a huge priority for them. Warlords of Draenor looks interesting I guess…

Sad, sad truth, I’m purchasing Warlords atm, raging about the last mail I got from customer support… asking yet again more data related to my pc/client.

Way to turn people away from your game Anet…

Just an FYI for everyone that has suggested a fix. I’ve begun testing all of them, my problem consisting with being unable to safely enter the Iron Marches myself, I will keep a log and add it in here when I’ve done tested everything.

If the issue affecting us isnt on our part, making any change will only make things worst (don’t fix it if it ain’t broke). Anet has to get a clue about their own issues and STOP looking for clues in our PCs, networks, etc.

The last patch did nothing for me either, not only my locked toons still got locked. But last night I had the fun of getting all of my toons locked, and got forced out of the game for a lack of options about what to do.

Anet customer service blamed my network, my pc, and lastly my client (nothing fixed the problem)

I have the exact same problem, even to the point of having all of my toons blocked at differents maps (that happened last night), and I was forced out of the game since I could not log into any character…

I have asked anet to assist me, but so far customer support is failing to solve it, they blamed my network first, then they blamed my pc, and now they asked me to fix the gw2 client.

Nothing of the above worked.
