ive noticed players like lion’s arch as their main city to visit, why? its because lions arch has everything the player needs, including a way to WvW, fractals, pvp, and various portals to visit other cities. The cities in the game are so darn beautiful but I’m not seeing ANYONE in them, like the grove is very beautiful but id like to see my city have more of a purpose other than be a distraction for my personal story. why not add guild halls in the cities other than lion’s arch, give guilds a way to maintain their halls while helping the city’s citizens while stationed in divinity’s reach? set up city events like tavern brawls, or detective work to find traitors lurking in the shadows, maybe posting advertisements so other players can find a guild they would like to join, and everything would benefit both the player and the guild he/she is representing. just and idea that i would like to see happen since i really want to see this world feel alive but all i see is people running around like nothing is happening, even when you have a dynamic quest system in place. so just a suggestion id like to put out…
but anyway, hope this works (it probably wont)

this idea came up a while back that sounded cool but thought i could get someone else’s opinion.
from what other players say that end-game is rather awkward, personal stories was somewhat disappointing, after hitting 80 with 100% completion in an area or the entire map; theres not much left to do for pve endgame is there? well what i could come up with is an end-story system for end-game progression. with the new laurel currency and optional dailies coming out would further deepen end-game.
how it could work:
With daily achievements, the player could progress through a daily set of leveled missions… after completing the set of missions the players would be rewarded with a laurel, karma, etc. the daily missions will end when the last mission is complete(ex. i start the daily missions on a tuesday yet didn’t finish it, i log back in thursday and ill be able to continue where i left off.)
generating the story missions will vary on (the level of the player, what zone the player is in, the player’s race, his/her standing in the game itself, how many hearts were completed in the zone, etc.)
NO
SInce lvling to 80 seemed like cake than a chore, leveling to 90 or 100 wouldn’t make a difference
for an idea I’ve had for a while after looking that a lot of players achieved lv.80 and completed personal story, the player would be mailed a daily “end-game daily storyline” to embark on after completing the personal story. These “end-game daily quests” will then generate based on the player’s choices in the personal storyline, ex. my sylvari has seen a white stag in his dream and then after completing the personal story line, my choices will affect what my generate for my end-game daily quests. The End-game daily quest line will then end on the day once you’ve completed it along with the rewards earned based on the choices within the daily quest, only then you will get a new quest the next day you log in.
