We had technical issues with yesterday publish, so the post was glitched for a bit. It was posted within an hour or two yesterday morning:
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/get-ready-for-the-june-2017-competitive-feature-pack/
And of course you’ve seen todays post specifically on WvW:

If you’d like to comment on today’s update, I suggest you post in this thread:

Thanks.

Enjoy!
Ohhh Gaile, I have expressed how much I love (and respect) you in the past but right now I just want to take a plane to ANET’s office and hug every single WvW employee!
That is marvelous, Jhoul. I was so excited to know the team was working on this, and I had to bite my fingers nearly every day to keep myself from commenting about this. It’s definitely a cool update, and I’m happy the WvW community is liking it.
Its sounds good over all. I hope this rewards work out well i can see the maps becoming a bit tag happy with getting added rewards for being a commander with at least 5 ppl. Every one going to be a commander lol.
I still like to see some more skill split from wvw vs pve (raids balancing dose not apply well in wvw).
That can happen some other time and as things progress (so it dose not need to happen all at once just skill by skill that end up being “problems” in wvw but are ok in pve raids). Now only if we could get a dev to post the blog post in the wvw forms its weird that they have not.
Gaile had your back, but it’s gone now lol
I did, but I removed my post to focus on the one that grumble beat me to the punch.
Glad that everyone is enjoying the update, and I just added the link to my post above so that everyone would be able to read the full blog with ease.
Thanks.

Request fulfilled! Thanks so much! <3

I wanted to point out to everyone engaged in this thread that this is a great way to acknowledge a received gift. You’re keeping the thread visible, but indicating your wish has been fulfilled.
To do strikethrough, you simply place a bracket S bracket at the start of the section, and then close with a bracket slash S bracket. You also can get that instruction perhaps more clearly by clicking the formatting hints prompt.
Thanks for the demo, BadKitty!
Hello,
Came across this post, so I thought why not. One thing I would really like in game is the Legendary Greatsword Twilight. I’ve only been playing this game for two months and really wished I started playing years ago, because I really like this game. Im currently using an Exotic GS, but Legendary as we all know is difficult to craft. I could just buy it, but it cost 3000k gold and I only have 100g lol. Thank you!
Hello,
Welcome to Guild Wars 2! I think it would be helpful to point out the purpose of this thread, which is generally to give players “a little boost” towards their objectives. Maybe it’s a few dyes; a couple of mats; a small supply of cooking ingredients. For someone who wants to acquire a Legendary, asking for help with one of the needed materials would be fine. Asking for the gift of a Legendary outright isn’t really in the intended scope of this gifting thread.
I’d suggest you review the path to acquiring a Legendary by consulting the Guild Wars 2 Wiki resource, decide if you’re going to take the steps required, and then perhaps you’ll want to reach out in this thread for help with a component or a small part of what it will take to complete your journey to get that Legendary.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you’re having a blast playing the game!

Thanks, as always, to the talented artists who contributed to the show and who keep our forums and our Tumblr pages lively. Keep that art coming, folks!
If you share here, great! Sharing on the forums means you have given us permission to feature the art. If you’re sharing on Tumblr, please always use the hashtag “#GW2 Fan Submission” to ensure we can showcase your art!
Remember that I look all over our forums and Tumblr page for art to include in a show, so if something isn’t featured in the month of submission, it may be featured in the future. (I also set aside seasonal art for the next festival, so already had selected some Halloween and Wintersday art for shows this fall and winter.)
Special Note: We love all forms of art, but are particularly hoping to see some more videos or trailers and some musical pieces. If you’re a videographer, a trailer maker, or a musician, please consider sharing your work so that I, in turn, can share it on the show.
We’ll announce the March show date sometime in early March.

I join Silvatar in thanking everyone for their leadership, participation, and donations to such a meaningful project. It’s a proud moment for the GW2 team to see players make such great and worthy efforts within our game world.
Thank you for your patience while we addressed this issue. The Frost Gun has been re-enabled.
As others have pointed out, Guild Wars 2 wikis are created and maintained by the player community. While we offer a site on which to house them, the work is done by volunteers from within the community.
Please work with the Chinese-language community to see if they will help create and maintain a wiki.
We seem to have several pages of “debate” about a policy that’s already been addressed and explained in detail. At the core, the points being raised (repeatedly, by some) in this year-old thread may actually come down to an argument about someone’s account suspension related to AFK farming. If that’s the case, take it up with Support. We won’t entertain discussions, debates, or arguments — hypothetical or otherwise — about decisions made by Customer Support.
Oh Mysha! So glad you shared those. I really love what you create! <3
I’m going to do a simple call-out about the anniversary on this month’s CSL, and plumb those riches for the future. Is that ok with you?
The crash issue has been corrected.
Thank you for your patience while we addressed this issue. The content has been re-enabled.
Hey all,
There’s a crash issue currently happening in PvP. The team is aware of this issue and is working on a fix that should correct this within the next few hours.
It is not a GM island.
Stop on by and meet Clayton Kisko, an open world designer on that mysterious project: Guild Wars 2 Expansion Pack 2!
We have music, videos, art, and more art. Join us!

As folks are starting to think more and more about Expansion Pack 2, it seems a good time to remind them about this fine movie, which encapsulates all of Season 1 very well indeed.
Thanks to everyone who was involved in its production — ya done good, guys!
Best of luck with the computer repairs, Ravel, and thanks for the info about Su.
These are flatout wonderful! <3
Edit: I keep looking, but it’s hard to find a favorite, they’re all so good!

Oh my gosh, love that! I’ve loved Pink Alp Bananas’ work forever! I think I’ll do a call-out on CSL in May, but I can’t share any images unless they hint hint share a few here on the forums so I have permission.
These are helpful! I hope you’ll continue to share your tips.
That’s very well done. I love seeing the image that was inspiration and the art, as well. As a non-artist, I think the side-by-side makes the process even more fascinating.
Lovely, lovely work!!
Drew my lady in a more casual attire, tho I did only notice that the green on her gloves looks too much like her skin only at the end. Ups.
What’s her name? Tell me about her!
You just never fail to impress, Clockwork. That’s amazing work. Thanks for sharing.
Due to an issue with the conversion of fire orchid seeds, we have temporarily disabled the ability to acquire The Wayfarer’s Henge Backpack. We will re-enable the ability to acquire the backpack after the bug has been addressed. Thanks for your patience.
We will be doing a maintenance build today. Although you will see a “new build” notification in the game, no alterations are being made to the game at this time.
That’s great! Keep us informed.
We receive many requests for help of one kind and another. This post will give you a little insight into our customer support processes, so you can get the help you need as quickly as possible. [Check the TL;dr at the end for the abbreviated version. ]
All support requests go into one big “bucket,” or queue. Whether the issue is large or small, critical or less urgent, every contact comes in as a customer support “ticket” and every ticket goes into a single queue. From the queue, our agents answer tickets in the order received. It’s not possible to expedite your issue by posting on a forum or on social media or by reaching out to individual employees.
Speed the Process
Security is Key
More than half of all tickets submitted to customer support are related to account access issues, such as forgotten login details or compromised accounts. Here are some tips to help you protect your account:

I will note that this mission would have been WAY more fun, across the board, if we’d had access to Bloodstone gliding powers.
Seriously. And not just this fight, but other situations as well. The gliding skills are among the best things from this LS season, and it’s a shame to see them dropped like a hot potato after the first episode.
But… Episode 4?
Hey Forum Folks!
I have a suggestion. To facilitate Paul’s gathering of your input, could you please use a format where you essentially “vote” on one of the two options, then share additional info below?
Sample Post
I would prefer [floating backpieces] or [some level of clipping].
[Insert any additional thoughts, such as suggestions, feedback, etc. afterwards]
Looking at the potential input, I believe posting in this way will be helpful to Paul in his review of your input. (That’s my unsolicited opinion. Paul doesn’t know I’m posting this, so mum’s the word! )
Thanks!
This is such a fun idea! Thanks for creating this contest, Alucardalina!
I hope everyone gets involved and contributes. There are some cool prizes in the offering! Head over to Project Tyria for info!
I love these videos. They are excellently made and very well written!
<3 <3 <3 !
This was mentioned on CSL this month; it’s fine work and I want to be sure that folks can find this.
Love this! <3

I attended the Pride March last year, and it was a fun and worthwhile event. I treasure the memory and the message! Those who are organizing this have put a lot of thought into the event, and I hope to see a lot of Guild Wars 2 players on June 24th!
We’re so happy to see this excellent initiative continue in 2017!
Thanks to all of you who are working on the event — your work is very much appreciated. And to all who participate, and especially to those who donate in support of such a worthy cause, thanks to you, as well.
This is sure to be a marvelous event!
Hey guys,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and I hope to see many other forum members adding to this thread. But may I ask that you please use the spoiler tag for comments that may give away story elements or other things? To learn how to do that, click “More posting and formatting options” below. I was going to try to write out how to do it, but found it keeps hiding the instructions, so check them out in the list, please.
I see that a lot of you made comments that are very helpful but that avoid spoilers. For example, using “the final fight” instead of “fighting PoobadooGoneBad (not a real villain)” is great.
Thanks for using the “spoiler” tag! And if you may have had a few spoilerific comments in your post, if you could edit to add the tag it would be very helpful.

You forum folks know the drill: A lot of us at ArenaNet read through forum threads on a regular basis, and you’re welcome to create or join threads on specific subjects within today’s release. But for this thread, may we ask:
Please share your high-level feedback (75 words or fewer) on Episode 5.
Thanks so much!
EDIT TO ADD: Please use the “spoiler” tag when appropriate. Let’s not give away the story to those who have not had a chance to complete it. Thank you.

Those are interesting ideas. I did want to point out that we have a “Looking for…” sub-forum, and a lot of guilds have successfully expanded their numbers with a nice recruitment within that forum. Feel free to use that, if you’d like!
Since he submitted a CS ticket, he’ll be helped as soon as possible.
It’s a fun episode. Y’all have fun out there and watch out for baddies!
Awright, you guys! What’s this posting before me!? I had four languages to update, so I guess I have some excuse for being 5 minutes later.
Have a great weekend!
The issues mentioned above, related to the TP, in-game mails, and world transfers, have been addressed. Thanks for your patience as we resolved this.
The Trading Post is now available. The other related issues also have been corrected. Thank you for your patience.

Update:
I wanted to let you know that we’re aware of three issues right now, and they are interconnected. Players are having trouble with errors related to:
The programming and server teams are working on the core issue(s) related to the problems, and we’ll get everything corrected as soon as possible.
I know an exact ETA usually can’t be given, but at this point, is there enough knowledge of the issue to know if the TP will be back up today?
The team is working on this, and after a fix is found there’s always testing to be done. I’m following their discussions, but at this point, it’s a little premature to give an ETA — even though you suggested a broad one, which was very nice of you.
I wrote messaging that we can post once the problem is resolved. I will post, or another member of the Comms Team will post, in the News and Announcements sub-forum in all languages when the issue is resolved.
