I am experiencing some massive fees on TP. I listed earrings for 95 silver and paid 5 silver fee for listing it. Then I noticed it was sold and went to get my profit and realized there was just 84 silver. Where did my 11 silver go? Is this intended? At least I have never seen any info on any fees for actual sales.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Just sold something for 54s 90c and only recieved 49s 50c, Where is my 5s 40c

I have been selling off large amounts of items like this and I wondered why I always seemed to have less cash than expected.

Getting an error whenever I try to use the trading post. I can’t actually use it at all at the moment

Since launch, I have been unable to use the Black Lion Trading Company at all. I submitted a support ticket within days of launch but it is still not fixed. When I press “O” all I get is the black screen and the spinning goldish circle.

I have no problem selling on the trading post but when I went to buy some jute scraps, my money was removed but I never received the items I purchased and I get this error message:

Network Error:
Please check your internet connection:
code 1049:59:10:1201:101

Not exactly sure how much money I lost, I think I was buying 25 jute scraps the first time and then I tried it again with 1 to see if it would work. There’s no problem with my connection, I’m able to play the game fine.

I haven’t been able to use the trading post system at all, including the gem store, since the update on midnight Thursday.

Whenever I open the trading post, the page only keeps loading, and doesn’t show anything.

Coincidentally it is since that patch that I have experienced sudden drop in FPS, from my usual 40-50 down to single digit. I did a quick search on the internet and it seems many people are having the same FPS problem.

I have tried disabling anti-virus program, using direct connection instead of routers, and changing video settings. My video driver is also up-to-date. None worked for my trading post problem, or the FPS problem.

I hoped that Friday’s patch would solve the problem, but it didn’t.

Today (8/9-2012) I posted 97 gossamer scraps on the trading post for 4s 22c each. I sold them all within in a few minutes but to my surprise only got 2g 41s back.
The tax on TP is 5% listing fee and 10% retrieving fee, so in total 15%. That means I should have been given about 3g 40~ something silver back. That means I got closer to 30 something percent in tax. This bug happened between 22:30-22:55 CET 8/9-2012.
1g is a lot of in-game money at this early state , so I would really like to get this issue resolved as soon as possible, with regards Niklas.

Just 10 minutes ago i sold Unidenfied Dye for 5s 99c and not recived any money. In “Items I’ve Sold” i have record about this transaction, but “Pick up” section shows no money..

Thanks for making it so that we can see more than ten items under the buy/sell/sold tabs however any chance that the times of the purchases/sales can be fixed? Also when you list by item name/price/rarity etc it only rearranges the ten items on that page, not the entire list.

When trying to access the TP, any part of it, instead of the usual setup, there was just a Error: Invalid Authorization

I can see the menus in TP, but when I try to buy something, the button just goes grey for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. I cannot buy anything.

Will will this be fixed, please?

I can’t buy anything from the TP because the buy button turns grey as soon as the TP loads and despite having more than enough money it never activates. I’ve tried multiple item types and quantities and tried to make purchases in the overflow and normal servers with the same effect. I’ve been able to buy and sell on the TP in the past.

I can’t sell items because that page hangs up at search inventory.

I am having exactly this same problem, and its getting to be a bit of a joke, i have so much crap i want to sell off.
Is it older pcs its doing this on or what? because atm i am on a poor one.

I just can’t buy or sell anything, all the buttons appear grey to me and never highlight when i hover them, it’s been like this for a week and I don’t know why this is happening since it used to work before that.

Hi, I was buying 10 Vail of Thick Blood from TP @ 1 silver 30 bronze each through “buy instantly” way like an hour ago. It showed me “success” while i placed my input for 10 pieces and charged me 13 silver. However, TP only gave me ONE AND ONLY ONE bottle of the Blood and didn’t refund me the remaining 11 silver 70 bronze. Please check the transaction and refund me, as well as to look for the bug of the extra fee charged while handling “partial successful purchase” logic. Thank you.

Can’t buy anything because the ‘Buy’ button is greyed out. I can’t sell anything either because the sell tab doesn’t load. The weird thing is I had this problem since I first started playing, and then for maybe a day or 2 I could actually buy stuff (and I did), then it decided to bug out on me again.

Any time I search for “Glob of Ectoplasm” to buy them, the little circle icon that tells me the process is not done yet just keeps going and I can never actually BUY them. It’s like the trading post times out every single time I want to buy that item. It’s super annoying.

I can’t access the trading post or any tab of the Lion Trading Company (or whatever it is called).

It doesn’t show a loading circle indefinitely.
It shows nothing – just a blank window, like the one before the TP “started to work”.
It has never worked for me since the 1st day of head-start. I wonder if anyone could answer me why.

I had about 30+ items in my transactions page, and since people aren’t too bright with what they put their prices at when the TP was periodically coming up I decided I wanted to repost them at a higher price. So I removed all my transactions thinking they would be sent to my mailbox or my pick up section. They weren’t sent anywhere but the void apparently because I got none of them back and It’s been about 3 days now since I did that. I have been periodically checking the tabs like they said but still nothing. I’m wondering if I’ll get them back…..

HEY…. THIS SEEMS TO FINALLY WORK FOR THOSE THAT HAVE PROBLEM LOADING THE TRADING POST IN WIN7 x64.

This seems to work for me.

1. Close the game client
2. Download and run http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/rootsupd.exe
3. You’ll probably have to click ‘run’ or ‘allow’ a couple times, but after that, nothing will appear. But that’s OK, your root certs have now been updated.
4. Open the game client and try to access the trading post

I download and run the rootspud.exe, but nothing happens. It doesn’t even show up in my task manager. And I have a Win7 x64…

I can’t place a custom order to buy anything. When I enter my price per unit and press “Place order” I get the message " Unknown tp.buy.succrss.header". And the same amount withdrows from my account.

The ‘Buy’ and ‘Sell’ buttons remain greyed out for me, even when I have the money, and the items are available to sell or buy. It’s really strange, but I currently cannot use the TP AT ALL due to this issue. Does anyone have a workaround? It’s been like this for a couple of days for me

Ok the repair thing worked really well, i can see everything and i can buy items now.

I’m trying to collect minis, so I buy gems and use them on minis packs! I bought 600 gems in the last 2 days, and used them on 2 minis packs, but I haven’t received them! My 600 gems have been deducted from my balance, so now I have 0 gems and no mini pack! It’s very frustrating and disappointing! Is there a way to get those packs I bought, or at least get back the 600 gems that I spent?

The trading post was working for me fine prior to the 5th or 4th of September, then it just became blank.
I’ve tried every suggested fix for the blank Trading Post issue, all I get on the Sell and Trading Post tabs is the search bar and the golden circle loading forever. However, the Gem Store and the Currency Exchange tabs work just fine. Any other suggested fixes?

To add to that, my friend and I use the same ISP and he has the exact same problem since the 4th or 5th of September.
I hope I get a reply to this.

Dear Anet,

Please disable the option to sell our stuff on the auction house from wherever we are.
Thats one of the reasons people are selling their stuff for such a low price.

People are too lazy to run to a merchant. It’s much easier to just sell it on the TP from wherever you are…

Please disable this option, and make it so that we can only sell on the TP at the NPC for it.

I just put an order in the Trading post for 100 Green Logs and 500 Seasoned Logs. After I pressed buy it immedeatly took my money (As is customary with the Trading post.) So I essentially paid for those logs. Yet when I went to my pick up tab I only recieved 10 Green Logs and 50 Seasoned Logs. I suppose somewhere a zero went missing but this is quite an unfortunate bug since I essentially paid a lot of money for those little logs.

Can browse, but cannot buy nor sell and “my transactions” is empty (even though I sold lots of things until 2 days ago, before this problem started).

I believe you’re correct.

Doing the earlier mentioned fix of deleting the “Local.Dat” file in documents does not work anymore.

Tried twice on this fix, logged on, and the"buy" and “sell” buttons are still greyed out.
Hopefully there will be a fix on the near horizon.

Buy button is grey and not clickable, keeps occuring but is gone from time to time as well. Hope this will get fixed, but I think we all understand that they focus on hacked accounts and login issues first, so maybe lets wait a few more days.

Well it’s been approximately 4 – 5 days now since I/others cancelled items during the time TP was broken and it looks like those items are never coming back.

That’s really frustrating. Is there nothing that can be done?

Well, I tried the repair yesterday and it fixed it. Today it was greyed out again. Repair twice did not fix it. I think the nightly updates are part of it “resetting” and being greyed out. I’ve been patient but this is really getting frustrating. I was fine the first couple of weeks thinking the auction house was not necessary to gameplay but now in later levels I could really use it to make some gold or get some appropriate gear for my level.

Tried that deleting trick before posting originally, and sadly it had no effect whatsoever. Good to hear it’s being looked at though

Well, I have tried both of those fixes, to no avail. Is there a way to check the proxy issue? I have no firewall or antivirus running on this computer. If the issue is something on my end, how is it that the trading post has worked twice now for me, randomly, before I made any of these attempts to “fix” the problem? I am very confused by this, since it worked once about two weeks ago and then for about an hour on Thursday morning, prior to me making any changes to my computer.

You pay the sales tax the moment you hit Sell, it should not add another tax on collecting profits.

Consumable filter sub-catagory is not working. I click on Consumable then pick food for sub-catagory. I get 0 Results. I think that this is hurting the economy by making a lot of people more poor then they would be otherwise.

As a side note filters could use some improvement for the armor.

Known ways to fix:
Launch client after completely closing it.

Thanks for the report.

I haven’t directly responded to this yet, but that’s only because I don’t have a complete answer for you. Our QA team has confirmed that there is a UI bug where if you type 10 or 20 it can sometimes drop the 0 from the quantity and make it look like it’s charging you for ten times that amount.

We’re going to fix that bug. We believe that it doesn’t actually charge you for the ten times amount, but we’re still investigating.
