9/10 I like charr with light armor lately. Don’t see a lot of whispers armor either so nice!

Here’s my charr engineer. I think he could be in Fallout.

With 5 being the average looking Charr I give you a 6.5. You are more unique than the average Charr with an obvious engineer vibe.

My WvW set. The new Phalanx armor are so nice to mix and match with.

8/10 Nice colour scheme and great armor combination. A bit shiny though.

Here’s mine (still looking for greater Boots and Helm to match the theme). I went for the Legionnaire colours and tried to avoid the spiky hedgehog style.

^ I’d give it a 9/10.

It gives that knight in shining armor feel.

It´s not a water breather on land, rather a device to protect a snout from being frozen.

But besides that it is a skin that was introduced recently with the tower of nightmare releases. It´s called Air filtration device. You can buy them on the TP if you didn´t get one originally.

I rate 8/10, has a simple but cool look, gives an ice cold assassin vibe. Spike shoulders like every charr with heavy armor SHOULD have.

What a beast! I love the red and white. This is why I envy the heavy armor users. It looks sooo cool on charr. You 9/10 in my opinion. Wish I could see the helm. But you def strike fear!

Well with the lack of a picture from the post above I’ll just go on. >.>

These are the outfits of two builds I’m actually somewhat proud of, going from a noble charr to a well equipped shock trooper. I’ve rarely seen charrs that weren’t ultra bulky warriors though so. :/

1st one: 7.5/10 I not really a fan of one shoulder pads on pretty much most coats like this one, but the rest of the armor looks good with some nice dye colors.

2nd one: 9.5/10 Very very good. Think I actually like the aether shoulders with the magitech more so than the magitech ones. Nice that you seem to created a dye set to match the jetpack.

Here is 2 of my engineer looks that I switch around often. First one is my aetherblade look, where I went to mimic the colors to those on the aether grenadiers as close as possible, while crafting a unique aetherblade engi with a bit of temple, SE, warden, and the gaskmask (also having aetherblade weapons too, least the shield now :P). Second is one I made very recently with mix of aether, noble, CoE, and HotW armor.

Here’s mine, gorgeous combination between t2 and t3 heavy.

8/10 I like the simplistic look on him and it works well with the white fur.

Mine might look a little generic, I was going for kind of a tough look on my war (partly to scare away little thieves in wvw xD)

9/10 I’m not usually a fan of all-black looks, but the flames add some interest. Would love to see more of them elsewhere.

This is my ranger’s leveling armor, I’ll probably change it once she’s 80.

This is my new and improved Charr. Meet…. Furby Fighter Curby.

She is a banished Blood Legion soldier exiled for disobeying orders when she lead her Furby Warband against the Flame Shaman before backup arrived. She later raided a Blood Legion armory and managed to get away with some armor from it. She later crafted her own armor to make up for the loss of coverage. She remains a Gladium.

I do like the black/gold combination for the most part.

Here’s my warrior again, in her beserker gear.

(Looking the part too, doing high damage but not “too” survivable under fire)

9/10. I like how your armor goes well with your fur and matches.

9/10. Love the color coordination with Monsoon and the look is very unique, nice job.

My guardian, Ponce De Lion, midnight fire highlights with white main. Vigil gauntlets, boots and shoulders. Draconic helm and karma remainder (“dark” for leggings, not sure on the chest piece family).

9/10 i like the “elder paladin” like feeling he gives, and is a very nice set combination, he could very well be a general of some sort

my female charr, not for stylish but for roleplayish purposes xD, infected by the dragons magic before born, she grew up with dragon claws and wings on her back, wich made her unable to wear chest armor, but it doesnt stop her from serving the blood legion

orrian leggins, achivement gauntlets, pit chest piece, random boots xD

8/10 We have a lot of similarities in our armor choices >.< I find it hard to find shoulders that will look good on a charr besides these ones for heavy!

Aytanhi, my Charr Elementalist. She’s kind of evil looking, but she isn’t really.

7/10 – Personally it’s too messy for me as you’d probably notice from what I like.

Sadly this image was taken after the patch that broke Kodan heavy armor so it’s not looking as good as it used it.

now cause i feel evil, my ele has 4 armor sets(each filling a different role, much easier changing armor vs changing traits and armor to match)

I’m not a big fan of shinnies and sparkles effects, could be worse if you were using fire (I cant spot thinking what a real pain it would be to use ar armor in flames… makes no sense even in fantasy as I see it (dont get me wrong I’m a huge fan of fantasy, LOTR, Game of thrones and a lot more).

I would suggest giving it more life in the colours and I do congratulate you for not using the “easy colours” such as Abyss and celestial. Try mixing a bit, just imagine what a true armor would look like.

Even though the guardian really is a magical warrior so it hurts me less to see effects on armor.

Dont get mad at me if another player would be next, instead of me you would prob get 9/10.

To be honest, I can’t really find anything that I don’t like on your charr.

Armor: unique and very charr, haven’t seen that mix before.
Dyes: work well together. Again, not something I see everyday.
Weapons: I like to use more flashy weapons but in your case, they fit your charr perfectly.
The charr itself: Beast, just the way I like it.

All in all – awesome! 10/10

Here’s my engineer + my warrior who I promised to show.

Engineer 9/10, looks very fitting for a Charr, good earthy colors.
Warrior 8/10. Looks good, but probably a bit common so a bit lower.

My newly 80 Charr, wanted a piratey captain feel to her. Dyes are still temporary, but the look is final:

7/10, I like the fact that it’s a mix of gear, especially when it’s so easy to do pure cultural since it’s actually a set made for charr not humans. But what kills it is the eye patch. It doesn’t fit over the face very well which is sad because I like the patch itself.

My Charr engineer. Going for the biohazard-mech look. Rascal, aetherblade, gas mask, blade pack. When the colored packs come out I will alter the look on gas mask to fit colors.

9/10, love that looks, though that pistol is -way- over used and I don’t think fits the theme all to well.

haha, i love it! its hilarious. it reminds me of my Factions warrior in guildwars1 and I was nicknamed Fruity Armor because of all the different dyes he had XD.

I don’t know whats goin’ on in this post, CMstorm, wheres ya armour? (Auzzie English here BTW) And I don’t know if i’m supposed to but Corchy.7481 didn’t get an out of 10 rating so I will just in case, I don’t want to skip anyone.

Okay so, My charr Fang Fireblade has almost 5 sets of armour so i’m gonna post every single one!
1: Vigil Heavy
2: (Cultural) Legion
3: (Cultural) Warband
4: Set of bits I had when i completed the game
5: (Legs & shirt of game completion set) Flame legion Set

And yes, I need a Life

Most impressive to me out of the 5 set is #5 9/10.

1. - 7/10 Have you considered mixing White gold, Gold, Bronze, Iron, and Copper as alternative to what looks like silver or steel?
2. - 6/10 Not big on silverish color on armor, but I’m a fan of other metal hues particularly nickel and old nickel dyes on this game. Makes it feel more true and used up.
3. - 8/10 Like the hues on this, goes well with the rugged feel of the armor.
4. - 7/10 Like the bluish tint metal but it conflicts with the purple accent.

My rate is heavily on the color schemes. Because I’m a purist, the set are all good to me.

im loving both those armor sets. i might give the top one an 7.5/10 and the bottom a 9.9/10. the themes on both are cool

okay, i can’t post a pic of my armor, because i don’t have access to it at the moment, but i will be able to post it in 2 weeks. I’ll tell ya what armor is on my warrior: T3 helm, T1 shoulders, TA chest piece, T1 gloves, TA leggings and i think either Vigil Boots or Dark boots. The dyes i use with the set are Walnut dye and Nickel or Tarnished Silver.

My charr ranger uses T3 chest, CoF shoulders and gloves, i think the leggings are Rogue Leggings, T3 boots, (helm i really don’t care so much cuz i can’t find anything fitting, so I just keep it hidden)

Liking the toxic theme on the bottom one, 9/10 ^^

Here’s my elementalist Swift Iceclaw, with the limited choice of reasonable Charr light armour I was fairly happy with what I came up with

The second one is more of a closeup, the armour is vigil mantle, inquest top, archon gloves (T2 cultural), vigil leggings and WvW boots.

9/10. Considered that I don’t really like light armor on charr, I have to say that combination is quite good.

9/10. Charr lovely guardians are the best lovely guardians, especially when they’re sporting Vigil gear.

Messing around with the color scheme and head piece for my mesmer – masks are about the only light armor pieces that don’t mess with the hair. Otherwise you’ve already seen him though, so I’ve included shots of my engineer, guardian, warrior and thief. They don’t like hats either.
