I usually dislike charrs in light, but man, you did a great job! And even on a female (I found it harder to get a “cool” look on a female Charr).
Love how the Staff matches the mantle, the skin tone, the hairstyle.
I have to say, I’m partially biased (I just don’t think anything else than heavy fits Charrs in general), that’s why I’ll give you 9/10 on this. Great job, mate!

For a heavy, the first set is pretty standard, spice it up somehow! Either with colors or don’t go (almost) full cultural. It’s not bad, but nothing eye-catching either. 7/10
The WvW set is just weird for me, especially that helm. WTF is it doing on a charr?
Colors seem to be a little chaotic too. 6/10.

This is my Charr Guardian.
Went for a berserker-like, fierce look, with not that much armor coverage. Used to be experimenting with the skirty skins, but it just looked weird, made the toon look like he had terribly skinny legs, which just didn’t fly with the idea. Used to have eyepatch, but I think the mask really suits the character.

@glorius: Great look, ran a similar set on my warrior when she was male charr, you pulled off the facepaint well imo. The staff doesnt really fit the look, though. 9/10

@serbianwolf: Looks a bit too bulky overall, dyes are a little too generic. Fused gauntlets seem out of place? Good mix-match though, 6/10

My warrior:
Not charr race-themed, I theme my characters based on region/country. This is kinda my take on a Ancient Middle Eastern warrior look.

I really like the simplicity of it, though maybe I’d pick another colour other than blue. Never thought blue could fit well with a Charr.

So, 8/10 :-)

I used the Vigil full set for some months until I got bored of it, so here’s my current set. Trying a berserker-like look, with helmless and barbaric look + the Vigil tasset/leg armor because my character is still part of the Vigil, even while away from duty.

Ilien 9/10. I like the “bare” look, not seen too often. Actaully I will go up to 9.5/10 due to the facial expression heh.

I really like those simple brown colors you use. The mask fits perfectly to the rest of your armor. He really Looks like a cool engineer!

9/10 I’m a bit surprised by how well the sylvarish armor goes with the charr appearance. Looks really nice. I like the tiny blue bits here and there so it doesn’t look all black&white. The only minus is that I never really liked the chest part of the ta armor. Otherwise, good job.

Dark red and black looks quite nice despite it being a common color. Looks pretty gewd though.

That was kind of the point, I don’t like all the huge flash and glare holographic wings/glowing bladed back piece with mash up of particle armor that makes no sense or theme, but to stand out as a edgy particle character to be noticed among the crowd . Though that’s fine. :P

I like it. You went for the same look as me, though I picked other armors to do it :-) I’ve posted the pic here before, but I’ll add a screenshot with another angle.

looks good. im really found of the vigil legs on charr=)

i post my pve and www set, pretty similar to eachother since i really like the legs/boots from wvw and the charr t3 helm.

9/10 for the first one, nice combination of Cultural, other armor and dye choice. (I don’t like over-the-top flashy characters) The second has the Spinal Blades backpiece and that can’t be very practical in combat(maybe some intimidation) so 8/10.

Anyway, here’s my Ash Legion Sniper and second-in-command to her Warband:
Tier 1 Cultural chest and legs supplemented with Banded gloves, boots and shoulders. The whole set is topped off with an Ascalonian Helmet(which looks amazing on a female, but not so much on a male for some reason) and the whole deal is dyed in Pitch(for a lack of Black or Abyss dye, Pitch works great of metallic armor) and Ash(a gray tone, but with a name like that I had to use it) dyes to give it that Ash Legion flavor.
(I would love ‘The Hunter’ but that thing is expensive!)
(Swords are close-quarters back-up)

I really like how the armor matches the ash legion theme and how it all meshes in toghether, a bit too much grey though so it’s a 9.5/10 imo.

this here is my char ranger taking full advantage of the glorious medium chest armor (yay for no trench coat)
